I live out of town and was trying to make a dental appointment. I've been there one other time for a dental appointment in 2022 and I had to go in a week early to get antibiotic for my dog in case he had infection per the dr's orders. When I made the appointment this time I asked about that appointment for meds and the girl acted like I was crazy. She then told me there was a deposit needed I told her that there had never been, but it was fine and that I would pay it but that i did not have my card at the moment but I'd call back. I asked her if she would check for me though to see about the week prior medication and when she put me on hold someone else picked up and started discussing the deposit as if that was my issue. IT WASN'T!!!! I explained to her I had no problem with the deposit although I did not have my card as I had mentioned and would have to call back in a minute but my issue was about the medication that may be needed. She told me she would note it in my chart and I could come in a week early and get the medication. I told her thank you and that I would call back with my card and she said that she would take me off of the appointments until I did so and hopefully the appointment would still be there. I called back immediately because my husband sent me a picture of our credit card and they would not answer the phone. The first time they declined it and then the next two times they sent it to voicemail. When I called back 32 minutes later and they actually answered, the appointment was gone. I let her know I knew she was doing it to be mean and that that was wrong! Whatever attitude they had this morning they took it out on me and my pet! But I guess I shouldn't be surprised because the time that I was in there in 2022 I saw a man jerking a dog around on a leash and yelling at it until the dog was whimpering. Turns out it was dr chapel so I guess the whole office has some issues. And yeah, I still have the video of it happening that I took. I should have left but when it came time for his appointment I stayed and talked with the dr. I felt ok with him doing my dog's procedure because my dog didn't need to be moving, he was actually going to be sedated so I knew he wouldn't be jerked around on a leash. The only reason that I was willing to let him see my pet at all is I have a relative that uses him for all her animals and swears by him. I guess I should have went off my first impression and never went back since here we are a year and a half later and this office still likes to use their bullying power of control to teach others a lesson I guess

Have been taking our house pets and show dogs to him for several years. Competitively low cost for vets. The wealth of knowledge is top-notch. Truely an individual with years of quality experience beyond what the average joe has. Down to earth, will explain anything you may have issues understanding. The office is always clean and the staff is wonderful.

The Vet operated on my 11 year fur baby, she is now well, she had two hugh kidney stone, I'm grateful, compared to other places the price was not overly expensive, he is very reasonable. Im very happy with them.

Dr, Chappell was so kind to take a quick look at my bird to make sure she was not in immediate danger over the weekend. We had never visited this clinic before, it was closing, and he cared enough to make sure she was okay. I emailed him the next day with an update, and he responded with a detailed summary of what to do to care for her. Although it is not particularly close for me, I am going to switch my dog and bird to this clinic. Highly recommend Dr. Chappell!
