I got recommended to see Dr. Millet by my sister and I am so glad she did!! The receptionist answered a million and one of my questions from the initial phone call. Dr. Millet was so caring and compassionate towards my puppy! He is also very knowledgeable, took his time with our family, also answered all of my questions. Dr. Millet is so compassionate and caring. He treated my dogs as I do, like my children. He is very personable and intelligent. His office staff is caring as well. The office is very peaceful and calming for animals. I am so glad to have been referred and now we will refer everyone we know! We recently had our toy poodle spayed and the experience was well above exceptional. I cried with relief knowing we made the right decision by choosing Pet Wellness for our pet care. At my previous vet, the veterinarian incorrectly assumed that my dog, Daisy, was unable to walk due to her weight. The next day, I had to rush her to an animal hospital due to the fact that she was whining in pain and unable to walk. When they examined her, they found her leg was horrifically sprained and may have needed surgery. Thankfully, she was able to heal from pain medications, but the entire experience made me instantly switch veterinarians. From day one, Dr. Millet proved himself to be an efficient, kind, intelligent, and understanding vet. Every time I visited, he remembered not only details about my dog, but about myself. My dog went from limping around my house to running, jumping, dancing, and playing like she did when I first adopted her. My own doctor isn't even that thorough with my own exams, but Dr. Millet impressed me with every visit. Unfortunately, I am unable to keep my dog with him due to the fact that I have moved out of state for work, but I highly recommend Dr. Millet to anyone who is looking for a highly skilled, immensely understanding, supremely kind, and efficient veterinarian. Everyone on the staff was also kind, understanding, and remembered details about me and my dog. I always felt welcomed and that my concerns were appropriately addressed with every visit. Everything, from services to medication, was respectfully priced and never did I feel like I was being ripped off with any charges. Everything Dr. Millet recommended worked spectacularly and I'm forever grateful for his work in returning my four year old dog back to her puppy-self in terms of her blooming health and her cheerful playfulness. Dr. Millet Is the kindest vet I have ever been too! My Persian cat Mateo has been going to him for years now. Cats can be very grumpy, but you can tell Dr.Millet cares so much and takes his time with them. He’s very informative and lets you know everything he’s doing. I never feel pressured into anything. Also never over charged or feel taken advantage of like many of the other vets in chalmette do. I refer everyone I know to bring their babies to Dr.Millet!
