After an emergency with my cat and being referred to cpvets I am so glad I came here. The ladies there went above and beyond to make sure I was okay given the circumstances, they explained everything and also confirmed with me before making any moves. My cat was staying overnight and from the gate it was going to be miracle if she survived but when I had to leave her there I knew she was in good hands and as soon as she took a turn for the worst they called me immediately to confirm what I wanted for my cat at the end of life. Given it being 8pm that same night they still made it possible for me and my kids to come down after my cat had passed and visit with her and bring her home. They expressed their condolences and made sure we were as comfortable as possible. A few days later I received a hand written card in the mail further expressing their condolences. Such a good place and they do care about your animals!

May 05, 2025 · Kay ParksThe staff was knowledgeable and saved our cat's life! They were completely transparent and even treated our cat for a chronic problem during his stay. All of the staff was friendly and helped us every step of the way, from the second we left our front door to the moment we finally got to bring our cat home the day after.
May 14, 2025 · Katherine YazzieHighly would recommend this clinic to anyone. Had a scare with our one ferret that we had just adopted a few days prior, in the evening after our primary veterinarian was closed he began vomiting several times along with other symptoms of concern. I spent an hour + attempting to find a clinic that would be willing to see him as he is an "exotic" when finally CPVet came to the rescue. We drove about 2 hours, and would happily do it again to receive the care we did. The staff were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient. The veterinarian that saw to our ferret was very thorough & communicated with us consistently about results and figuring out a plan to execute for our little friend. Prices were beyond reasonable, especially for an emergency visit. I couldn't be more satisfied. Thank you🐾🩷 Though we hope not to need to return, we would do so confidently if any of our animals were having an emergency.
Feb 13, 2025 · Madison SnyderWe lost our floofnoodle Lil' Miss the other night. The staff here were amazing and did everything they could, answered all our questions, and were so, so patient with us and compassionate as we bawled through the hardest decision we've ever had to make. We're really grateful for everyone that was there overnight Wednesday. Also after reading the other reviews, some things to clarify.. 1. Yes you wait in the car unless the worst should happen and they were so promptly communicative the entire time. This is all over their website. Its not that big of a place and to have a bunch of randos pacing around would stress out the sick animals!!! 2. Its an emergency vet. You're supposed to follow up with your primary vet. Do you expect human ER docs to call you in 3 days? No. 3. We were fully informed of all options before anything other than emergency stabilization was rendered. We were given the time and info we needed to make fully informed decisions, they answered every round of questions we had, and never rushed us. Its not this establishment's problem if people dont understand what their services are, even though they were incredibly clear from the first phone call. Again, everything is all over their website. And you're welcome to try and find somewhere else to go at 2 am.
Mar 01, 2025 · StephanieNo one expects their pet to get sick… but when they do, you hope to find a facility that will treat you and your pet with kindness as well do all they can. Our boy, Kane, wasn’t acting right when we got back from a trip Monday. We visited CP vets Tuesday, received some fluids and nausea meds and instructed to keep an eye on him. We took Kane for a follow up with our regular vet and we requested labs (which isn’t a standard of care as you may know. Routine bloodwork is not often necessary for pets, so be sure to request it if you feel strongly). His labs showed acute liver failure and we were again advised to monitor. When Kane continued to decline that same day (of course after regular vet hours, that’s what pets do lol), CP vets were there for us. They quickly triaged Kane while we checked in. We had no wait, despite them explaining it was a busy evening (which I believe them, I saw many folks come and go). Staff listened to us and even offered a discounted emergency fee since we were at our normal vet just 2 hours prior. They must’ve newly remodeled, because the waiting room itself was super comforting. The decor is very nice. The receptionists are very friendly. Kane ended up needing admission to facility. There are no hidden fees. You meet with the vet tech as well as the doctor and they discuss plan of care in detail. They show you estimates and explain the low end and high end of costs. Vet care is expensive in general. I don’t think this facility is any more costly than any other facility. For us, we didn’t care about cost. Our pet’s life was more important. If cost is something you’re concerned about, the staff has itemized invoicing and will certainly work with you for what you’re willing to do/spend. Dr Loar personally called us to update us about our boy. They were kind enough to pause Kane’s care and let us visit him for a bit mid day the next day. Kane spent the day with Kasey, who assured me that she was cuddling and caring for our boy. He happily walked off with her back into the back room. This was evidence enough to show that these humans really CARE for your pets beyond just administering meds. They comfort them, which should absolutely ease your mind when thinking about admission to the hospital. We called many times for updates and not one person seemed annoyed. They very gladly updated us. If we didn’t call first, someone else called to check in. Kasey called, I believe at shift change, to tell us what a good boy Kane was and that she had to hand feed him. She let us know what to expect for the evening and morning. I was honestly urged to choose another vet for Kane, but I’m glad we went with CP Vets for this predicament. We had a great experience.
