Oct 08, 2024 · Autumn LewisI would like to start off by stating I have worked in multiple vets and work with animals every single day. What happened was not preventable or curable but definitely should have gone a different way. My dog was sick and I went to them six different times. She lost 20 pounds and every time they told me that she’s a perfectly healthy dog. 20 pounds in two weeks. And you’re telling me that she’s healthy? I ended up going to a different vet because they wouldn’t listen to me and they wouldn’t do any testing on her All they would do is feel her tummy and tell me that her tummy is not hurting and she’s fine. She was not fine. She passed away. but every time I called to ask for something they would get upset with me and tell me that she was fine and the lady at the desk was rude. Since my dog has passed, they called me to check in on her, and I told them that she passed, they sent me a grievance card. They continue to contact me and email me and send me letters in the mail even after knowing that she passed and after me telling them I would prefer them to completely remove my name and my dogs name from their system. I finally got all the cards and emails so I called them and I said “ Hello, my name is ———-. I would prefer if you remove my dog and my name from your system because she has passed.” and the lady at the desk responded with “ well man, we don’t know if she’s dead if you haven’t told us.” . She said it extremely rudely, which is completely inappropriate when I told you that my dog died and not only that they knew that she was dead. i’m not looking for someone to blame, but there was no reason to be completely completely rude rude to me after I just told you that my dog died.
