I don't write reviews often but I feel like it's needed especially after my experience Monday. I have seen Dr. Curtis and Dr. Amgar for years. They've known all my dogs from puppies. I had a dog, Elric, who struggled for years with behavioral issues. I am a dog trainer so I worked along side my vets to make sure he had the best quality of life. Unfortunately on Monday, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to do a behavioral euthanasia. It is the hardest decision ever. Normally my visits at the vet are silly, full of jokes....we laugh and smile and my dogs do really well there...but this time it was full of sadness and tears. Dr. Curtis' compassion through the entire process was impeccable. I have never seen a vet care so much. It really eased my heart to know that he cared about my dog as much as I did. He gave us time in the room, didn't rush us and really helped talk me through the entire process. My dog Elric passed calmly and peacefully and with zero fear thanks to Dr. Curtis. Outside of that, every experience I've ever had there with the doctors has been wonderful. I usually try to see Dr. Curtis or Dr. Amgar but if they aren't available, the other doctors ive seen have been great. I have a husky, Awilix, who struggled for over a year with eating and gut issues and Dr. Curtis did EVERYTHING to try and find out why. I was seriously at this place every week with her and they never made me feel like I was crazy for being there so much. I knew something was wrong with my dog. We finally ended up diagnosing with IBD and getting her on the right meds and she's been good since! I have a scared pup named Scylla who is always taken care of , even though she wears a muzzle. She had to have surgery on her head for an infected scar and you'd never even know because Dr.Curtis did such an amazing job. And I have a young pup Ymir who is just a goofy boy and they take great care of him. My senior dog goes for joint checks and such and he's treated like their own. I will never go to another vet. Ive read the other reviews here and can't believe some of the lower scores because I've just never had those issues. Yes, this place is busy. So you WILL wait if you're a walk in. The front desk can sometimes be hectic but ive never been ignored. I'm always acknowledged when I come in. Thank you Dr. Curtis and team for taking care of my fur babies as if they were your own. The amount of caring and compassion your team has shown me over the 14 years I've been going there has been incredible. 🐾🐾

Best Dr’s ever! Especially Dr. Amgar! I will only see Dr Amgar for my babies, but if he is not available, I have not been disappointed with the others either! Thank you Centennial Hills Animal hospital for always taking good care of all my babies for the last 21 years! ❤️🐶

Yesterday we had to face the difficult decision to let our dog Waldo go to Heaven. I want to express my gratitude to the vets at Centennial Hills Animal Hospital for always being kind and compassionate. During 14 years, I never had a negative experience. I want to specially thank Dr. Bailey, who diagnosed him not long ago, with a terminal condition. She thoroughly and compassionately explained the prognosis, being realistic and considerate of Waldo’s old age. My appreciation to Dr. Amgar as well, and to Dr. Reed, who had the difficult task to put Waldo to sleep. She could not be more compassionate and kind. Our hearts are sad but at peace that our dear Waldo had a long life in good hands.

The staff were so sympathetic with our situation. Doctor has an awesome vibe about him , his interactions with my dog were genuine. We had an emergency and were so emotional it just made us feel so much better to know he cared. They called every day to check on us. Thank you Centennial Hills Hospital!

This place has just become a complete unprofessional chaos. My family has been coming here for years with three separate dogs. The last few times this place is just a mess. Good luck getting in with your Vet at your appointment time. I’m not sure but it looks like they just squeeze in the walk-ins constantly. Profit over people, of course. Today was the final draw. This place picks up and ask you if it’s okay to be on hold. And then I Stayed on the phone for 20 minutes for someone to come on and ask “have you been helped?” And then puts me on hold to “check appointment.” All this just for another person to hop on and ask again “have you been helped?” It’s just awful customer service. The worst is this type of situation is so normalized with whoever they have on the phone they sound as if this is completely okay. I have had great visits here over the years with Dr. Amgar, Dr. Commander, and Dr. Curtis. This doesn’t reflect on their services. But their reception customer service is just beyond horrendous at this point for how much you pay. If you have all the time in the world and don’t mind dealing the laughable customer service, the Vets here will probably take care of your pups. There is just too many alternatives for a place like this to act you are begging for their business.
