My cat is my first feline companion and holds a special place in my heart. However, being new to work and on a tight budget, I opted for this clinic for her spaying procedure. Similar to others' experiences, I was informed on Friday that my original appointment was canceled. When I tried calling back, there was no answer, which left me quite anxious as my cat was already in heat. However, I received a callback from the staff on Sunday, managing to secure an alternative appointment, albeit at a farther location. The night before the surgery, I found myself reading previous reviews, feeling increasingly worried about the procedure. I even contemplated canceling the appointment for the next day. Yet, I also trusted my cat's overall good health and felt compelled to proceed, though I now realize it might not have been the wisest decision! It's crucial to assess your own cat's situation carefully. Today, I arrived ten minutes late due to traffic, feeling incredibly nervous and anxious. The staff, however, was incredibly kind and reassured me as she took my cat in for surgery. She informed me that I could pick her up in two hours. When I returned, she seemed quite weak. However, after getting home, she managed to eat a little and seems to be recovering well so far.

Welcome to Catmobile
As a leading name in the "Pet Hospital" category, Catmobile stands out as a dedicated veterinary service focused exclusively on feline companions. Located at 63 Elm St, Salisbury, MA 01952, USA, with a phone number of (978) 465-1940 and mobile phone +1 978-465-1940, Catmobile offers a unique approach to veterinary care, primarily known for its accessible and specialized spaying and neutering services, alongside other essential feline health provisions.
Catmobile, despite its name, operates from a fixed address in Salisbury, Massachusetts. However, its operational model often involves mobile clinics or specific scheduling to maximize efficiency and reach a wider client base, a characteristic that might initially be inferred from its name. While not a traditional walk-in clinic in the sense of a large, multi-specialty animal hospital, Catmobile streamlines its operations to provide focused, high-volume care. The environment is designed to be efficient and purpose-driven, minimizing the stressors often associated with vet visits for cats. Customer experiences suggest that while the physical facility itself might be more practical than luxurious, the emphasis is placed on the professional and compassionate handling of the animals. The staff works diligently to ensure that cats are taken in smoothly and returned to their owners post-procedure with clear instructions for recovery.
Catmobile primarily specializes in affordable and high-quality spaying and neutering procedures for cats. This specialization allows them to perform these common surgeries with a high degree of expertise and efficiency, making essential pet population control accessible to a wider demographic. Beyond these core surgical services, Catmobile's offerings, typical for a facility in the "Pet Hospital" category, would also include pre-operative examinations to assess the cat's health suitability for surgery and post-operative care instructions. While customer reviews specifically highlight spaying and neutering, it's reasonable to infer that a facility dedicated to feline surgical care would also provide basic vaccinations and potentially microchipping services, often bundled with spay/neuter packages to offer comprehensive preventative care for cats. For any specific inquiries about additional services beyond surgery, direct contact via their provided phone numbers is always recommended.
One of Catmobile's most prominent features is its commitment to **affordability**. Many pet owners, especially those on a tight budget, find their services to be a more economical option for critical procedures like spaying and neutering compared to larger, full-service veterinary hospitals. This focus on cost-effectiveness does not, however, seem to compromise the quality of care, as evidenced by successful outcomes and satisfied pet owners. Another notable feature is their **specialization in feline care**. By focusing solely on cats, Catmobile’s staff develops a deep understanding of feline behavior, physiology, and medical needs, potentially leading to more tailored and less stressful experiences for the cats. This specialization can also translate to a higher volume of specific procedures, fostering greater expertise within the team. Furthermore, the **scheduling system**, though sometimes challenging due to high demand, is designed to manage a significant caseload. While booking an appointment might require persistence due to their popularity, it indicates a high level of trust and demand for their services.
Based on customer reviews, potential users should be aware of a few key aspects when considering Catmobile. The most frequently mentioned point is the **high demand for appointments**. Customers often advise being proactive and vigilant when the booking schedule opens, as slots fill up very quickly. This high demand is a testament to the value and affordability of their services but also requires patience and strategic planning from pet owners. There have been instances of **unexpected cancellations**, which can be anxiety-inducing, especially for owners whose cats are already in heat or require urgent attention. However, customer feedback also highlights that the staff generally makes efforts to reschedule, even if it means securing an appointment at a different time or location. This adaptability, while sometimes inconvenient, showcases their commitment to accommodating clients. Despite the logistical hurdles, the overall sentiment from customers points to a **positive experience with the staff and the outcomes of the procedures**. Pet owners describe the staff as "incredibly kind," "reassuring," and professional. They appreciate the clear communication regarding pickup times and the health of their cats post-surgery. The efficiency of the process, from dropping off the cat to picking them up, is also a frequently praised aspect. For example, one user noted dropping their cat off around 8:20 AM and picking them up by 1:30 PM, indicating a streamlined and timely service. The successful recovery of cats post-procedure, even for those initially nervous, reinforces the clinic's reliability. While the initial booking process might present a challenge, the actual experience of care and the professionalism of the team appear to leave a lasting positive impression, making Catmobile a highly recommended option for affordable and specialized feline veterinary services in the Salisbury, MA area and beyond.

Apr 08, 2024 · Katharine GaoThe cat Mobil was a great experience!!!! The only problem was booking an appointment because they fill up very fast and you have to literally be right on top of the schedule of when to book so you can get a appointment. We did have a appointment but the night before it was canceled unexpectedly without warning! After that cancellation they scheduled us for the next month and we had to arrive at 8:30am couldn’t be late, and it was an hour away. We got there at 8:05 they came to our car and took the car carrier around 8:20 and told us to be back at 1:30pm we got back about 1:15 and they came out to us and brought us back out neutered cat! No problems and answered our questions.
Dec 26, 2023 · MaggieCatmobile is the greatest low-cost option to spade and neuter your cats in Massachusetts. I've used this service at least 15 times. Both for my own cats, and friends and family. I highly recommend this service and will use them again if the need arises.
Jun 12, 2023 · The LallyI had a great experience and so did my cat! I did book the appointment, and it was canceled the day before, but they called me to rescheduled. I understand that they are a small organization, and I ended up saving a lot of money. I will be spaying and neutering my other kitties next year. Make sure you READ all the email they send you so you understand everything. This is a low cost option so you do need to buy your own cone/body suit for your cat. Upon dropping my cat off at 9am, they’re were cars already there so I parked behind them and followed the line. Picked up my cat at 1:30pm and she’s doing great! The email they send you post surgery is also informational. I did wish that was sent before the surgery though as this is my first cat and don’t know much. Thank you Catmobile!!!
Dec 28, 2023 · Delmy HernandezWe drove over 200 miles to access affordable spay services for my cat, who's life depended on this surgery. The Catmobile staff treated us with total and utter disrespect. They turned us away saying the consent had not been signed when in fact it was signed days in advance. So, we drove 200 miles with a sick cat screaming in the car and now have to find another option to get her the care she needs. They then tried to keep my funds, and I had to open a fraud claim with my bank to get my money back. The people you work with over the phone are kind but the Catmobile staff themselves are an outrage. Avoid if you can, however I know it is hard I am in this same position. Good luck!
