Our dog is family to us, in a most deep and meaningful way. He has been receiving both wellness and illness care from Dr. Wallingford & the team at Cat & Dog for 10 years now. Their professionalism and skill is the best, but what really sets them apart is their compassionate focus on the patients and their parents, (pets & owners). They treat us like family too! I highly recommend them and will always choose them in the future.

This clinic truly cares about their patients. Our cat Banshee had a dental surgery and Dr. Wallingford took the time to talk us through exactly what they did, the post surgery care plan, and provided some insight on her tooth decay. Since we brought her home, the clinic has called us every morning to check on Banshee. I’ve never experienced this kind of attention from a clinic and it’s truly appreciated in an anxious time.

This place is absolutely terrible, I would give it zero stars if I could. The tried to force the rabies vaccine on my dog and told me it is the law. LOL. That is false, it is NOT the law. It is up to the individual vet. They are trying to force vaccinations to make more money, don't let them fool you, other vets do not require this! They are lying and want to give your pet many unnecessary vaccines! RESPONSE: You are incorrect that we "force" anyone to do anything here, and Rabies vaccines in dogs, cats and ferrets is in fact mandated by state law under WAC 246-100-197. Next time, check your facts! You 100% tried to force me and my friend as well! When you get a bad review you get on here and LIE! Excuse me but CHECK YOUR FACTS, it is 100% NOT mandated and that is why we can go to another vet and this is NOT a REQUIREMENT! Do you think my dog just never saw another vet again?

So grateful to have found Dr Fernandez, she listens well, is kind and warm with my dog, thorough, and is providing excellent care to my dog. The staff is friendly, patient, and accommodating. The facility is clean and well-cared for. Highly recommended.

This place provides solid care, and has reasonable pricing for the most part. I had been coming here for a number of years before moving away from Seattle for a little over a year. Upon returning I called to schedule an appt for an expression for my dog where I was told she would need a wellness exam prior, and to be caught up on her vaccines. I provided the clinic with my dogs health records and a point of contact for the vet she previously saw while we were away from Seattle. I was then informed I would be charged a re-activation fee for transferring her care somewhere else in addition to the health screening at $79 before any other care could take place. I understand health screenings are a way for these offices to make money, and I'm OK to pay to get in. I'm not OK being charged a fee for finding my dog veterinary care elsewhere as a result of moving out of the state. I don't understand instituting a fee that effectively punishes your return customers. When I asked why I would be charged a re-activation fee I was told that pets who secure care elsewhere, or who have not been seen by the staff in 2+ years (my pet was last seen under 2 years ago by this staff) are subject to this fee and that I was free to find care elsewhere if I did not want to pay it. Until this interaction, I was a happy customer of this place. Can't help but feel like I caught someone at the front desk on a bad day. Happy to discuss further as someone who's previously only had positive experiences with this place.
