Been brining our cat here for a few years. It’s great. Very knowledgeable. He got very sick at one point and they saved his life. Won’t take cats anywhere else. Love the cats only situation They do sometimes have kittens running around the waiting room so beware if that stresses your cat out

The environment at Cat Clinic At Canyon Park is thoughtfully created with cats in mind. Recognizing that many cats can experience stress in a typical mixed-animal veterinary setting, our cat-only policy helps to minimize potential anxiety. While the provided information mentions that kittens may sometimes be present in the waiting area, it’s important to note this as a potential consideration for cat owners whose pets may be stressed by the presence of other felines, especially those who are unfamiliar or more active. However, our overall philosophy is centered on creating a low-stress environment tailored to cats.

Dr. Gawley truly cared for my sick cat till the very end. We made frequent visits trying out everything we could. She would reach out during the week to see how our cat was doing on medications. We will still be going in for our other cat for normal checkups. Your cat is in good hands here

This is the best clinic in the state of WA to bring your cat too. They are friendly, kind, caring, empathetic, and supportive. We had to bring our sick kitty here and unfortunately we had to say goodbye, but we are confident the Doctor and team tried everything in their power and conducted every test to understand what was wrong and try to treat our baby boy. They recommended the best options and sent a thoughtful sympathy card in the mail during the difficult time of grieving. If your cat needs care, bring them here! You will not be disappointment. They are the best of the best.

Last Tuesday, 9/24, Dr. Gawley performed a cystotomy on my cat. By Sunday (9/29) my cat stopped eating, so I took her to the emergency vet. They treated her symptoms and advised me to follow up with our primary vet if she didn't improve by Monday (9/30). Unfortunately, her condition remained the same, so I brought her back to Dr. Gawley, who had me drop her off for the day. Despite calling twice, I received no updates until I went to the clinic just before closing at 6 PM. Dr. Gawley and her team merely repeated the symptomatic treatment that the emergency vet had already provided. No effort was made to investigate the underlying cause of my cat's illness. By Tuesday morning (10/1), my cat had worsened, and I rushed her to the emergency vet with a 106-degree fever. Blood tests revealed she had zero white blood cells—a critical condition that should have been discovered if Dr. Gawley had conducted appropriate tests on Monday. To make matters worse, Dr. Gawley called the emergency vet on Wednesday (10/2) and disclosed that she had treated another cat on Tuesday (9/24) who may have exposed my cat to a highly contagious infection. This information, along with the lack of proper care and diagnostic tests, has left my cat hospitalized for two nights, and she is still not out of the weeds just yet. When Dr. Gawley called me Tuesday (10/1), confused as to why I hadn’t brought my cat back to her clinic but instead took her to the emergency vet, I emailed a detailed explanation of the events, to which I have received no response. I strongly caution anyone considering this clinic. They will keep you uninformed while your pet is in their care and fail to take the necessary steps to diagnose and treat serious conditions. I have never been more disappointed with a veterinary service.

If you have a cat, this is the best place to take them for their care. My cat Harper has a history of frequent vomiting. The first vet she was with when the issue started kept giving her anti nausea shots and prescribing medication to address the symptoms but the root cause was never investigated. When I went to another vet when I move and the issue occurred again, she had those same interventions, anti-nausea shots and medications to mask the symptoms. At times, Harper was throwing up every 2-3 days. I had no idea what to do. When I moved again, I started taking her to Cat Clinic at Canyon Park. Dr. Gawley asked a lot of questions to understand what was going on around the times Harper would throw up. She really made an effort to get to know my cat. Her first intervention was to suggest I move the food and water bowls near my bedside so that my cat, who often refused to leave my side at night, could still eat and drink water so her stomach would be less acidic. That worked for a little bit but then the issue continued. Dr. Gawley then suggested food trials. We tried a couple different foods before we found the right one. Harper now rarely throws up and she seems a lot healthier. I don’t even want to think about what would have happened to her had we not started seeing Dr. Gawley. Seriously, Dr. Gawley knows her stuff. I trust her completely when it comes to my cats.
