I am so so glad Cat Care Clinic was recommended to me. Everyone is so kind and showed such care and kindness for my Ahri. Also, the one of the benefits of seeing a veterinarian specializing in cats is they’re much more familiar with cat behavior and are more attuned to potential health concerns. I didn’t realize how much I would appreciate that until after our first visit. I will continue to bring both of my kitties here for all future visits. The welcome sign out front also made us feel so special and welcomed.

Have issues with finding a vet that likes and understands cats? I surely did. Finding a good vet for my rabbit was swift and easy (Avian and Exotic, highly recommend for exotics!) but my cat was unfortunately a different story, until today. My last vet (NOT at Cat Care Clinic) was the stuff of nightmares for any cat owner. She handled my cat (Zelda) very roughly, she spoke of cats as if they were aggressive animals that want nothing more than your blood and tears (not in a joking or informative way, just a flat annoyed and unsympathetic way), and she quite literally yelled at (not emphasizing) and cussed out my cat for merely meowing loudly (my cat is not aggressive and wasn't even hissing or growling, she was just yowling because she was terrified). The vet greatly increased the stress of both myself and my cat. As I was leaving that appointment, I saw a dog who was acting very similar to Zelda - just in dog language. The dog was whining loudly, cowering, and trying to get away. The vet's face lit up and she immediately started baby talking the dog. After this visit, it became incredibly difficult to get Zelda in her carrier despite her having been desensitized to it before because she was so traumatized. This story is very shortened because I don't want the focus to be on that but it became very evident that this vet was a dog person, NOT a cat person and so I never went back. Flashforward to today and I took Zelda to the Cat Care Clinic of Indianapolis. Upon learning that a cat-specific clinic existed in Indiana I assumed that the vets here just had to love cats so I was very excited! I was immediately brought into the exam room despite showing up 10 minutes early and the first thing I saw was feliway plugged in and a soft blanket on the counter. The tech came into the room and reviewed what I wanted to be done today and she told me she will step out and I can let Zelda roam the room (a technique to minimize stress in pets). I opened the crate and was honestly surprised to see her walk out. At the previous vet, she wanted nothing more than to stay in her carrier, but here, she wanted to explore. She was still a little cautious at first (crouching, walking around the perimeter, etc.) but she quickly became more comfortable and even started purring, she shot her tail up, and she showed great curiosity. When the vet and the tech came back into the room, they handled her with great care and were very gentle. They pet her and she was comfortable despite her usually being more aloof around strangers. These were clearly cat people. They took her back to have her blood work done (she's a senior🥲) and vaccinate her and I heard no loud yowling. There were like three soft meows after a while but it was not comparable to my experience at the other vet whatsoever. The receptionist came in and told me that Zelda will be coming back in with a band-aid and it will be removed before we leave and then Zelda comes in with the cutest little chicken band-aid😂😍. When Zelda comes back, she still shows no sign of stress and is very comfortable in the environment. The tech petted Zelda once again and Zelda actually leaned into the pet. The tech told me that she really likes Zelda and that Zelda was a very good cat. I remarked that her old vet would disagree and she said, "well I think she is a good cat!". Zelda went into the carrier very smoothly on the way out. On the baggie of Zelda's rabies tag, they wrote "Zelda" with a heart. This may seem small, but for me, it's always the small things like this that are consistent among my good veterinary experiences. My rabbit's vets also do a lot of small things and they really show that they care. Everyone was super nice to not only Zelda, but myself and this is the most pleased I have ever been with a vet visit for Zelda. I definitely recommend this clinic to any other cat owners out there.

I love taking my cat Tipsy here to get her nails trimmed. The employees are all super friendly and even put her name on a sign by the front door greeting her arrival! They always get us in and out within 10 minutes and sometimes have same day appointments! I never spend more than $19.10 and they offer her yummy treats during and gift her one for after her service. The atmosphere is very calm and welcoming. As long as I live here, this will be my clinic for her.

I’ve been bringing my cats to cat care clinic for about 8 years. This past year I’ve been in a lot because one of my cats is dealing with a lot of skin allergies that we’ve been trying to figure out. Dr Demaree has been so helpful throughout the process. She was transparent that allergies can take a while to figure out what’s causing them and find the right treatment to help. Even outside of our appointments, she’s willing to answer questions via email or phone. She even spent 15 minutes on the phone with me recently talking through a treatment plan and answering all my questions, which I really appreciated. Dr Demaree and the whole staff are always so kind and helpful. You can tell they all really love the kitties.

I'm not sure I've met a group of people as committed to cat health as Cat Care Clinic. When dealing with a complex issue with our 4-year-old cat, they continued to research her chart and were able to diagnose it more quickly. The follow-up care we have received has been astounding. As you can tell from my review, I care so much about our pets; they answered every question I had in detail and provided follow-up calls and info. These people care about cats as much as you do. In my experience, I haven't experienced this level of cat health expertise.
