I unfortunately have to change my review from 5 to 4. Today I took rogue in for her surgery/dental and I’m fairly sure I asked for no nail trim today since I had already trimmed them the day before and even though Rogue was in good hands they unfortunately didn’t listen to me and quicked almost every toe. I’m still happy with the other services that were performed today as her dental care and lump were taken care of. I’m just sad that almost every one of her toes had been quicked.

Castle pines veterinary hospital was recommended by a family member when we brought our puppy home and I am glad they were. Staff is very friendly and interactive (to both animals and humans) vets are personable and educational and do a great job of setting expectations whether it be for a first time shot or reactions to meds or prep for spay/neuter. Oh and they are right next to the star bucks so pro tip: get your dog a pup cup as soon as you leave the vet and they will LOVE trips to the vet in the future!

After my dog got into a significant amount of chocolate I took him to a local emergency vet where we had a very poor experience. I brought him home after that visit and didn't think he was going to survive. I called Castle Pines Vet the next morning and they were able to get him in for a follow up. The vet we saw, Lisa Rieck, was amazing. She was honest with me and took such good care of my dog. Thanks to her my dog survived and made a full recovery. I will be forever grateful to her and the team at Castle Pines Vet.

I took my little dog, Sadie, to the dog park as I often do. I have a pinched nerve in my leg so walking her on a leash is difficult. Sadie was attacked viciously over and over by a black dog. The owner had no control of the dog. Hearing Sadie screeching, people in the park came running to help and were able to catch Sadie, who was running away from everyone, still screeching. I took her to my wonderful vets in Castle Pines who immediately and took care of her. They cleaned her wounds, diagnosed a problem and gave meds to calm her and prevent infection. I will forever be grateful.

I've been to a few vets in the area and this one takes the cake. Their team is always very courteous and as concerned about my dogs as I am. They are never too pushy but will tell you what you actually need for your pet and I appreciate the transparency. It seems like one of the last locally owned vets in the area and I will continue to support them because of that.
