Aside from the staff at the front desk being very friendly, everything else about bringing my cat here was a nightmare. I made a huge mistake opting for this hospital simply because it was closer to where I work. I have spent a lot on pets over the years, so I know it is expensive to go to an ER vet, but I 100% agree with the reviews saying this place only cares about money. My cat was having a bad asthma flare-up and was brought in early on a Saturday; initially, there was thorough and consistent communication via phone. They let me know she would have to stay 24 hrs. I was sent a link to make a second deposit for the additional treatment I approved. Well, wouldn’t you know it - after I had paid the $3,800, the communication went out the window. I was told I would have an update on Sunday morning, but had to call multiple times before a vet finally called back after noon, saying my cat could be picked up in the evening. They also mentioned that she’d developed a fever overnight so they had to add on fluids, but never specified anything beyond that. I was also never given an update on when she’d last eaten. When I picked her up, I was given liquid steroids and a prescription for a pill that was “very important” for her to take that night. Wonderful - scrambling to fill a RX on a Sunday night. They told me I could get an inhaler from my regular vet as a replacement for the pills. When that ended up not being an option, I called and asked on Monday if CASE could give me the RX for the inhaler. After not hearing back, I showed up in person, and the vet on duty finally wrote me one (why was I not given this option initially?). Thinking everything was fine, I went to multiple pharmacies only for them to tell me they had never even heard of this inhaler, for pets or for people. At this point I was ready to scream. When I took my cat to our regular vet for a follow-up, he let me know THE PRESCRIPTION WAS INCORRECT. Even more concerning, he commented that the initial prescription for the pills seemed a little excessive for asthma. Lastly, I have never once left a vet’s office without an invoice, either printed or emailed. When I called to inquire about this, I was assured that their “financial department” would be updating me soon. It has now been a week and I haven’t heard anything from CASE. They completely blew me off once the ~4K went through. Pets are worth the stress and the money sometimes required. But when folks are paying this much and also worried about their pets on top of that, there should be more consideration involved.

In the realm of pet care, finding a reliable and trustworthy partner for your beloved animal companions is paramount. CASE Animal Hospital aims to be that partner, offering a range of veterinary services to address the diverse health needs of your pets. This introduction will delve into the environment, services, features, and provide an objective overview based on available information, including real customer experiences.
As a dedicated pet hospital, CASE Animal Hospital positions itself as a local resource for pet owners seeking professional medical attention for their animals. The physical location in Anaheim, California, suggests accessibility for residents in the surrounding areas. For immediate contact or inquiries, the hospital can be reached at (657) 999-1150 or via mobile phone at +1 657-999-1150.
Understanding the environment of a veterinary hospital can provide pet owners with a sense of comfort and assurance. While specific details about the interior ambiance, facilities, and equipment are not explicitly provided, a professional pet hospital typically features examination rooms for consultations, surgical suites for various procedures, diagnostic imaging capabilities such as X-rays and ultrasound, and laboratory services for timely analysis. A clean and organized environment is crucial in a veterinary setting to ensure the well-being of the animals and maintain hygiene standards. Furthermore, a comfortable waiting area can help alleviate stress for both pets and their owners.
The services offered by a pet hospital are central to its role in the community. Based on the limited information, CASE Animal Hospital appears to handle both routine and emergency cases. One customer review mentions bringing their cat in for a severe asthma flare-up, indicating the hospital is equipped to manage acute conditions requiring immediate attention. Another review highlights the successful treatment of a pet with gastrointestinal issues, suggesting expertise in internal medicine. Typically, a comprehensive pet hospital offers a wide array of services, which may include:
- General wellness examinations and vaccinations to ensure preventative care.
- Diagnostic services, including blood work, urinalysis, fecal examinations, and advanced imaging (if available).
- Surgical procedures, ranging from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.
- Dental care, including teeth cleaning, extractions, and oral health assessments.
- Emergency and critical care services for pets experiencing sudden illnesses or injuries.
- Management of chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, and allergies.
- Nutritional counseling and weight management programs.
- Behavioral consultations to address issues like anxiety or aggression.
- Hospitalization and supportive care for pets recovering from illness or surgery.
The specific range of services offered by CASE Animal Hospital would be best confirmed by directly contacting them.
Features that distinguish one pet hospital from another often revolve around the expertise of the veterinary staff, the use of advanced medical technology, and the overall approach to patient care. One positive review explicitly praises "Dr. Rafia" for his knowledge and thoroughness, suggesting that the expertise of the veterinarians is a significant strength of CASE Animal Hospital. The review also commends the kindness of the Client Service Representatives (CSRs) and the supportive nature of the technicians, highlighting a focus on compassionate care and clear communication. The mention of a "thorough treatment plan" and the explanation of procedures without pressure indicates a commitment to involving pet owners in the decision-making process and ensuring they understand the care their pets are receiving.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback to provide an objective introduction. One detailed negative review paints a contrasting picture, alleging that the hospital prioritizes financial gain over patient well-being. This customer recounts issues with post-payment communication, discrepancies in medication prescriptions, and a lack of transparency regarding billing. The experience described includes difficulties in obtaining correct prescriptions, a perceived excessive initial medication, and a failure to provide an invoice promptly. While this is a single account, it raises concerns about communication protocols, accuracy in prescriptions, and billing practices.
Promotional information is not explicitly provided in the given text. Typically, pet hospitals may offer introductory discounts for new clients, seasonal specials on vaccinations or preventative care, or loyalty programs for regular customers. Without such information, it is not possible to comment on any specific promotions offered by CASE Animal Hospital. Local users interested in such offers should inquire directly with the hospital.
Based on the available information, CASE Animal Hospital presents a mixed picture. On one hand, there is a strong indication of compassionate and knowledgeable care provided by at least one veterinarian and the support staff, as evidenced by the positive review. The willingness to go the extra mile and provide comfort to the animal is also noteworthy. On the other hand, the detailed negative review raises significant concerns about communication breakdowns, potential issues with prescription accuracy, and billing transparency.
For local users considering CASE Animal Hospital for their pet care needs, it would be prudent to weigh both positive and negative feedback. Visiting the facility in person to assess the environment and interact with the staff could provide valuable insights. Asking detailed questions about treatment plans, medication protocols, and billing procedures is also recommended. Seeking a second opinion for significant medical concerns is always a responsible approach to pet healthcare.
In conclusion, CASE Animal Hospital in Anaheim, CA, operates within the Pet Hospital category, offering veterinary services for local pet owners. While some customers have reported exceptional care and compassion, particularly highlighting the expertise of certain staff members, others have raised serious concerns regarding communication, prescription accuracy, and billing practices. Local users are encouraged to conduct their own due diligence to determine if CASE Animal Hospital aligns with their individual needs and expectations for pet care. The provided phone numbers, (657) 999-1150 and +1 657-999-1150, can be used to contact the hospital directly for further information and to address any specific questions.

Mar 31, 2025 · Rachel TsudaIncredible Care & Compassion! I don’t even know where to start! First and foremost—thank you so much for everything you did for my Layla girl! She had been struggling with gastrointestinal issues, in and out of the hospital, and I finally realized it was time for an emergency visit. I drove two hours to get to CASE, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with smiles. The CSRs were so kind, the doctor (Dr. Rafia! He knows his stuff!!!! He’s a keeper! Dont loose him!)took his time explaining a thorough treatment plan, and the techs walked me through everything I needed to do—without any pressure. They truly understood my girl, knowing exactly how to keep her comfortable (including the much-needed booty smacks to lift her spirits!). The love, care, and knowledge from this team are unmatched. No matter how far the drive, CASE is absolutely worth it! Thank you all for taking such amazing care of my sweet girl.
Mar 18, 2025 · Nicole CameronTook my kitten in around 3am on Saturday and the team was amazing! They acted quickly and the Dr was so nice and informative. The girls at the front desk were helpful and it helped me stay calm. Also they have a cute resident cat that was sitting on the desk and he was also an added comfort. I was impressed with how clean the facility was and they offer free coffee, water, etc. I hope I never need to go back to an emergency room, but if I do, I would feel very confident bringing my cats here to be treated. Thank you Case Animal Hospital.
Jan 06, 2025 · puma GMOur 15 year old cat was very ill a couple of nights ago and was not going to make it , it was after 8pm at night and looked up a 24 hour animal hospital and found case veterinary hospital. I called so upset and the caring staff member on the phone told me that I can bring him in immediately, thank god they were around the corner from us as I was so terribly upset I would not have been able to drive a long distance. When we arrived the staff was the most helpful and caring people I have ever encountered and you can tell they truly love animals. We had to put our sweet baby to sleep and having such a sweet staff and doctor i know they were going to treat him with love as you can tell they love animals. I cannot say how beautiful they are and I would definitely recommend the veterinary hospital if you need urgent help for your fur babies. God bless the entire staff at Case 24 hour veterinary hospital ♥️
Feb 12, 2025 · Sherry GarfiasI took my friend there who went early in the morning around 2am to put his cat down. They said they could save his cat.It was gonna cost him $1700.00 Around 11am he calls me frantic saying something is wrong with his cat that he was just staring at the wall. So I tell him call the veterinary back I’m on my way to pick you up.We get there and the vet said he was fine said he was still sedated. And that she wasn’t gonna charge him. He ends up having to take him back he is still starting in space crying in pain. They told him they were gonna have to put him down and charged him an additional $600.00. When that’s what he originally went for. Mind you my friend is barely making it paycheck to paycheck. It’s all about the money so sad.
