I can’t say enough good things about Cascade Animal Hospital and Dr. Kelly Hagerman. My 13-year-old McNab Collie, an adventurous and energetic soul, was struggling with arthritis and other complex health issues that were seriously affecting his quality of life. I had been going to another vet but felt like I wasn’t getting the care or clear answers my pup needed, so I decided to seek a second opinion. From the moment I walked into Cascade Animal Hospital, I knew I had found the right place. Dr. Hagerman was incredible—she took the time to listen to my concerns, examine my dog thoroughly, and explain everything in a way that actually made sense. She didn’t just throw out guesses or temporary fixes; she created a clear, methodical plan to figure out the root cause of my dog’s health problems. And you know what? Her plan worked. Not only did we get to the bottom of my dog’s issues, but Dr. Hagerman also helped me recognize a lifestyle factor that was making things worse. Because she took the time to educate me (something I had begged my previous vet to do), we were able to make sustainable changes that truly improved my dog’s life. He’s healthier, happier, and back to doing what he loves—hitting the trails and enjoying adventures with his family. This whole experience was incredibly stressful for me. Watching my best friend struggle and not knowing how to help him was heartbreaking. But thanks to Dr. Hagerman and the amazing team at Cascade Animal Hospital, that stress is gone. I now have complete confidence in their care, and as long as I live in Vancouver, I won’t be taking my dog anywhere else. Beyond just great medical care, Cascade has also given us something priceless—peace of mind. My dog is a rescue from a kill shelter, where he was marked for euthanasia and left with both physical and emotional scars. Vet visits used to be a nightmare because of his anxiety, and I would literally have to carry my 60-pound dog in and out of the office. But Cascade is different. They maintain a calm, welcoming environment, and their staff is incredibly patient and kind. Now, my dog actually walks in on his own. That alone has been life-changing for both of us. I am so incredibly grateful to Dr. Hagerman and the team at Cascade Animal Hospital. They not only helped my dog get better, but they also made a real difference in both of our lives. If you’re looking for a vet who genuinely cares and will go the extra mile for your pet, this is the place.

My dog Nina is a rehab patient, specifically she is regularly seeing Destiny for underwater treadmill sessions. Destiny is absolutely wonderful and we look forward to our sessions every week. She goes above and beyond every time to make my doggo feel safe and comfortable. Nina loves her to bits and so do I. Cascade Park is lucky to have her. Her skill and professionalism is unmatched. We feel so welcome every time we visit. Thank you, Destiny, for improving Nina's quality of life every time we come in :).

We’ve only been one time for our dog and we were not impressed. They took us back an hour late, the receptionist was not friendly and did not explain why or give a heads up that they were running behind. The doctor immediately pointed out that our dog was overweight (her previous vet had never brought this up). Other than that the bedside manner of the doctor was fine. An $85 deposit for a new patient exam is quite steep. The reason we will not be going back is due to the receptionists. There is no empathy and no sense of urgency. I called because our dog clearly has an ear infection (she is prone to them), needed her cytopoint, and let the receptionist know that we needed to be seen as soon as possible. Dead pan the receptionist stated the soonest appointment was two weeks from now, no empathy. I’ve dealt with different receptionists four different times and none of them have been pleasant or even sound like they care. I’ve called one other time to have her seen and received nearly the same timeline for a different issue. We called a different vet right up the road and they saw her the same day. They waived the new patient fee, were completely empathetic, great with her, and many techs stopped to say hello to her. It felt like how a true veterinary experience should be. Cascade Park had none of this.

The staff here have been absolutely incredible so far! Yesterday was my first visit but they have gained a lifelong customer already, after calling around and trying to get my dog seen because he has kennel cough the receptionist when I called here went out of her way to go talk to the vet to see if they could get me in given the circumstances. I was able to get in that day, every staff member seemed very concerned about my dog and truly seemed like they wanted to help him feel better. They were very transparent about pricing and making sure the treatment was comfortable budget wise for me. They just overall made such an effort to ensure my dog was gonna be okay.

I had the last appointment of the day and these guys rushed the exam process so quickly I am not even sure what I paid for. They asked if I would like to be present for blood work and ultrasound which I said yes to. Technician explains she needs assistance and her colleague is occupied. I’m totally okay waiting but instead she takes my senior cat into the back to be near her occupied colleague to perform bloodwork. A few moments later my cat is being returned to me in a towel and the technician is saying we ran out of kitty minutes today and I will need to reschedule for February. We did not run out of kitty minutes today we ran out of Technician Minutes today. The facility lights were off before I left the parking lot. Your team rushed the process, spooked my cat by taking her from the room, only to traumatize her again with a rescheduled appointment. This is not the place for cats.
