I can’t say enough good things about Carver Street Animal Hospital, especially Dr. Latoya Schultz and the amazing vet techs like Michaela. My dog Daisy can be pretty reactive and nervous, and I was honestly dreading her appointment to get a couple of cysts biopsied—especially given some past experiences at other clinics. But from the moment we walked in, Dr. Schultz and Michaela were incredible. They spent so much time just getting to know Daisy, giving her tons of love and treats before even attempting to examine her. They moved slowly, used me as a calming presence and distraction, and truly made Daisy feel safe—so much so that she didn’t even flinch during the biopsy. That’s a miracle in itself. What meant the most to me was that they kept Daisy in the room with me the whole time and treated her like a whole being, not just a "case." Dr. Schultz is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and smart—she took the time to answer all of my questions without rushing, and her calm energy made a huge difference for both me and Daisy. We’re moving away soon, and I’m genuinely sad to be leaving such a wonderful vet. If you’re looking for a place that treats your pet with deep compassion, skill, and respect, look no further. This team is a rare gem.

GO ELSEWHERE FOR ALL OF YOUR PET NEEDS Updated to respond to CSAH: You told me that the manager was not on site at the time I was in and they would call me as soon as they got in, which would be soon. That call never came. It is obvious that you do not intend to refund my purchase, as promised over the phone on Friday. I called you 20 minutes after our appointment and I was assured that these things happen and that I would be refunded upon return of the product. I had hoped to return the next day, Saturday, but could not get there before noon due to my work schedule. My favorite part of this whole situation is now how your staff attempted to shame me for buying our dog medications from an Australian group online. She rolled her eyes and said under her breath "well that doesn't sound safe," when I told her that's where we usually ordered from (and have been for 14 years with zero issues). We have been going to Carver Street Animal Hospital for about five years now. We began going here during the pandemic when we needed a closer vet option. They were only slightly more expensive than the vets we have been going to and that seemed a fair trade for the proximity to our home. Fast forward to this year and prices have escalated exponentially. Service has become predatory. Meaning they attempt to add on services in order to inflate the bill. After a long discussion, we decided to try an all-in-one flea, tick and heartworm prevention medication for our older dog. We asked if the cost would be much higher and they said no, the price increase was minimal. I asked to look into other options for ordering when seeing that the price was actually almost doubled, but they brought me the medication and charged me for it at the counter anyway. They told me that I would be able to return it, if needed, within the next few days. When I got home, my husband had already ordered the same medication, a full year supply. I called and they told me that I could absolutely return it. I went in today to do so and was told that was absolutely not possible. Someone had lied to me, they said. I'm not sure what the changes over here have been, but I'm not interested in sticking around to find out. I would not recommend this vet office to any new customers. I would recommend anyone who uses them now to find somewhere else to take their animals.

The vets here have been wonderful so far for my three kitties. I have one with severe behavioral issues and another with asthma, and they have been so thorough figuring out how best to care for them (including diligent followup phone calls). One of my favorite vet offices I've ever been to.
