This was the first time visit for OJ (OrangeJuice) my red tabby and I could not have been happier. Both Leann, the tech, and Dr Weaver, the vet were terrific with him. They answered all my questions and took excellent care of him. We will be back.

I'm not sure you want my review. After some consideration; I feel someone should say something. I haven't been to a veterinary practice on the Eastern shore that practices really good veterinary medicine. Most practices are owned by corporations now. In order for them to stay in business they have to push products. For the most part the products are way overpriced for what they are. I haven't talked to one person who is a client of an Eastern shore practice who isn't thoroughly disgusted with the veterinary industry here. Not one practice does emergencies unless they are an emergency clinic. The Eastern shore has 2 and Salisbury doesn't even do orthopedics. Please correct me if I am wrong. I started in this business when and where it truly cared about the clients and their pets. It would be normal to get called in for a HBC at 2-3 in the morning. After working all day, staying until whatever time it took to put that Yorkie back together; after a tv had fallen on it. Doing hydrotherapy on a dog whose flesh completely sloughed off her leg, twice a day every for three months so she could have all her legs. These are only a few things that come to mind. The point is we did it all from ear oblations to splenectomys and everything in between. We worked hard as a team. We saved lives and practiced good medicine. Don't get me wrong I pushed my fair share of products to clients. Most of the sales reps would really hype their wares with claims of science and results. Some are good but I don't recall any perfect products. The garbage the sales reps pushed at conventions or continuing education seminars were ridiculous...feliway, hot spot spray, the bathing system, and the list goes on and on. My suggestion to the veterinary industry is to take a closer look at what you are doing to your clients. I'll bet if you stop pushing so much junk and start practicing some real medicine, you might not have to send so much junk to our emails and phones. Your clients will be happier and they will come to you. Trust me I haven't heard anyone on the Eastern shore tell me how much they love their vets. Sorry I guess my experience working in the field was a while ago and so different. In my opinion... maybe not perfect but certainly better than this.
