This hospital is amazing, they love each animal that comes into their facility. I am a new dog owner, so anything different happens, I drive here. I have driven here from Monroe several times, they didn’t charge me $195 to tell me nothing was wrong with my puppy love. I was recently in Israel for almost a month volunteering with the Military. I returned on Monday, I picked my puppy love from his boarding facility. I went to his vet, they wouldn’t even look at him. Drove to Carolina Vet specialist, for him to be seen. I can’t drive at night, so I had to leave him and drive home and then take a Uber back to CVS. When I returned, they told me he was fine, and would NOT charge me for the visit. After being in Israel almost a month and almost a month of boarding for my puppy love. I was expecting a bill almost $500 or more from CVS. To be told, we’re not charging you. Goes to exemplify, this is not about financial gain. It’s about the care of our animals is prominent for them. God Bless Them!!!

Wonderful staff and doctor. We were referred to Dr..Mauler in Neurology. I felt she was helpful and very knowledgeable. I appreciated her direct approach. Unfortunately it was too late for my sweet dog but that’s not any fault of this vet, I blame my own for misdiagnosing my dog for months prior. I appreciate that Dr. Mauler didn’t waste time pretending she could fix the problem and ordering more unnecessary and expensive tests like my vet had. She was honest and upfront and helped me make the best decision for my dog. Shelby her assistant is very kind and attentive too. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

Our dog was a cardiology patient from 2019 until his passing in June 2024. Without Dr. Cox, we wouldn't have had our sweet boy for the 11 years we were blessed to have him. She always ensured he was on the best medications available to treat his condition and really cared. He lived with his condition for 5 full years, which was significantly longer than the 18 months we thought we'd have. Thank you to the Cardiology team for their commitment to caring for their patients.

We went here late at night on a Sunday because our dog had a terrible allergic reaction and was full of hives everywhere. We were seeing right away. The vet was kind and explained to us what had been given to our dog and explained they needed to keep observing her progress. We were able to go back home the same night with our girl, and she was fine since she got treated here.

We just waited 6 hours to be seen for a swollen leg when the quoted wait time was 3-4 hours. Once we were finally seen, with no urgency, the vet tech let my dog walk back in with no sling (she hasn’t been able to walk on her own in two weeks) and she could barely make it into the room. Once the vet came in she said she just didn’t know what it was and sat there silently while we had to prompt for answers when we didn’t even know what question to ask. Not to mention when she came in, she had no information on what our dogs problem was. No one checked on our dog the entire 6 hours to see if she was stable, give her water, nothing. I don’t have the vets name right now but when I do I will come back update this review. To sit there for six hours and leave with no answers and the most moronic vet I have ever come in contact with was infuriating. The most unprofessional vet experience of my life.

We drove from Wilmington, NC, to be seen. I cannot thank the emergency department, Dr. Mauler, and the team enough for the exceptional care they provided for my baby girl Aubrey after she suffered a stroke. Dr. Mauler's expertise, compassion, and dedication were evident. She took the time to explain every step of the treatment plan, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt supported during such a stressful time. The staff has been incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, ensuring Aubrey receives the best care. When we had concerns after discharge, Dr. Mauler and staff guided us on the next steps for Aubrey. I want to thank them for their exceptional care and compassion. Aubrey is on the road to recovery, and I am forever grateful. I highly recommend Dr. Mauler and this clinic to anyone needing emergency or specialized veterinary care. They truly go above and beyond!

I just called for a neighbor, Kayla answered. She is professional and kind. I had a previous experience that they were helpful with. I was in distress and Lilly and Kayla, calmed me and handled everything with such empathy. Also kept me up to date and took care of my little rescue dog. Dr Silva and team cared for my little one and told me the things I needed to do for aftercare. They also sent me an email, which I am grateful for because it was a trauma visit.
