I had never been to this vet before, but I was coming from an hour away and luckily there was no wait. Let me just say that all of the workers here are amazing. From the receptionist helping me through the phone to the vets who handled my cat, I was very pleased with my experience. The drive was worth it for the amount of care and concern that was shown towards me and my cat. All of the workers were extremely transparent and thorough. I received a cost breakdown as well, which I feel like is rare at vets these days! I appreciate everyone here so much!

Feb 22, 2025 · Anna Miller5/24/2024 Absolutely nothing worse than having to rush your family member to the animal emergency room! My sweet Angel needed medical attention but it wasn’t life or death at that time but serious enough. We had a wait because a patient came in needing immediate urgent care which is very understandable. Dr. Messenger did a wonderful job treating Angel. He did his examination and clearly explained to me what was going on with her making me feel more comfortable about the situation. He brought in a sweatshirt for me and a blanket for Angel due to it being cold on in the exam room. I see mixed reviews on here and people complaining about having to wait. There’s always going to be a wait unless it’s extremely urgent care that is needed. A big thank you to the staff and Dr Messenger! At the worst part of my day you guys made it better and brought a lot of relief. Angel is recovering but not out of the woods yet. I am hopeful for a full recovery for her.
May 26, 2024 · M BAlthough for most times, people coming here it’s not for the happiest of moments. I want to personally thank the staff for the promptness and care they’ve showed my furbabies during their end of life care thus far. You all are appreciated 🤍
Mar 23, 2025 · Ariel L.I had to bring in my 17 year old kitty, Baby Susie, 3 different times in the span of about two weeks because she was suffering from severe anemia. The staff was so friendly to me and treated my kitty wonderfully every time I went. They let me visit her whenever even multiple times a day and they would always call and give us updates on how she was doing. Even though my cat was very old they took everything very seriously and did not label her as a lost cause just because of her age. Each time I had to take her the front desk staff was very friendly to me and were very helpful. The second time i brought her in it was an emergency and the second I arrived someone came out and immediately grabbed her and took her back. Dr. Bailey was wonderful to my kitty, she even got her in with the cardiologist in Matthews the day after they suspected she had heart failure. Even when there was little hope that my baby was going to live much longer Dr Bailey still gave her another chance. I would highly recommend coming for any pet emergency because of how kind and compassionate they treated not only me but my precious kitty. We had to put my sweet baby down a few days ago but it is comforting to know that they really did try their very best to save her.
Aug 02, 2023 · Georgiana SimonThe younger PM front desk staff were nasty, incompetent & uncaring after I spent thousands trying to save my boy. The internal medicine vet (despite seemingly knowledgeable) didnt bother to attend the discharged appointment despite being present in the building. Leading to us being unknowingly discharged at 5mp without being provided with needed medicine FOR THAT EVENING. By the time the pharmacy was able to fill our needed medications (9in total) the following day, my dogs blood pressure was through the roof leading us to need RIGHT BACK to the emergency dept within 24hrs. That vet on call knew nothing of our case despite being discharged less than 24hrs prior from a stay that was 4 whole days & nights. She didn't acknowledge the inappropriate behavior of front desk staff & was equally condescending & unprofessional. In the end, I chose to pay more money to take my baby to another location to be put to sleep. I couldn't stand the thought of letting him go amongst people who had made a traumatic situation SO MUCH WORSE. And treated us like a piggy bank rather than a sick dog & a scared, heartbroken owner. As a former bartender, I pride myself in not being a Karen because I know what that is like when working with the public. I debated on leaving this review at all. Ultimately my baby deserved better & so does yours! If we can put any pet parent on notice when visiting this facility & save them any heartbreak then it's worth it. RIP my boy
