This is my first time since I was 12 owning cats. So naturally I’m very nervous and have lots of questions. They are always so kind and understanding even when I call multiple times a day. The people that work there are really the best all the way from the people working the front desk to the actual vet. They are all so welcoming. They have made me feel so secure in my ability to raise these kittens. From Stevey, Bucky, Nick and I, thank you so much for all you do we love and appreciate you guys❤️

You can contact Caring For Cats by calling (585) 865-5220 or via their mobile number at +1 585-865-5220. The environment at a feline-exclusive Pet Hospital like Caring For Cats is often intentionally designed to be less stressful for cats compared to a mixed-animal practice. This might include a quieter waiting area, separate examination rooms specifically for cats, and potentially feline-friendly accommodations for hospitalized patients. The aim is to create a calm and secure atmosphere that minimizes anxiety and promotes a more positive veterinary experience for your feline companions. The facility will be equipped with the necessary medical equipment and technologies tailored to the specific needs of cats for diagnosis, treatment, and surgery.

As a specialized Pet Hospital for cats, Caring For Cats offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services focused on feline health. These typically begin with routine wellness examinations, which are essential for establishing a baseline of your cat's health and detecting any potential issues early. Regular check-ups allow the veterinary team to monitor your cat's overall well-being, provide necessary vaccinations, and offer guidance on nutrition, behavior, and preventative care specific to cats. Vaccinations are a critical component of feline preventative care, protecting against diseases such as feline leukemia virus (FeLV), feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV), rabies, and feline distemper complex.

In the event of illness or injury, Caring For Cats provides diagnostic services tailored for feline patients. This may include in-house laboratory testing for blood work, urine analysis, and fecal examinations, which can provide valuable insights into your cat's internal health. Imaging technologies such as digital radiography (X-rays) and potentially ultrasound may be available to aid in diagnosing a wide range of feline conditions. The veterinary professionals at Caring For Cats will have specialized knowledge in interpreting these diagnostics in the context of feline physiology and diseases.

For cats requiring medical treatment, Caring For Cats will develop individualized plans based on their specific diagnosis and needs. This can involve the administration of medications, fluid therapy, nutritional support, and the management of chronic feline conditions such as kidney disease, diabetes, or hyperthyroidism. The team will be experienced in the nuances of feline pharmacology and the best approaches for administering treatments to cats.

Surgical services are another important aspect of the care offered at Caring For Cats. They likely provide a range of surgical procedures relevant to felines, including routine surgeries like spaying (ovariohysterectomy) and neutering (orchiectomy), as well as soft tissue surgeries for various medical conditions. The surgical suite will be equipped with anesthesia monitoring equipment specifically suited for cats, and the veterinary team will have expertise in feline surgical techniques and post-operative care to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Dental care is particularly important for cats, and Caring For Cats is expected to offer comprehensive feline dental services. This includes routine dental cleanings to remove plaque and tartar buildup, dental examinations to identify issues such as feline odontoclastic resorptive lesions (FORL), gingivitis, and periodontitis, and potentially dental extractions or other oral surgeries as needed. Maintaining good dental health is crucial for preventing pain, infection, and systemic health problems in cats.

Been bringing my cat here for years. Same routine each time, bring her there for drop off, they do the very difficult job of giving her a bath and trimming her nails, give her whatever vaccines she needs and I come pick up a no longer smelly kitty. I don’t think they’ve ever actually used the anesthesia on her, they always tell me she’s a nice cat so they didn’t have to. I don’t know what cat magic they do here but if your cat is in need of some smell removal you should definitely bring them here.

Dr. Arnold and the rest of the team have been nothing but amazing in taking care of my fur babies. Very informative and the cost of visits are reasonable! They do not want unnecessary testings if they think your fur babies do not really need it. I've been coming here for more than a year now and I always feel confident in every visit I have that my fur babies will get the utmost care they need in here.
