Zero starts if it was possible. I took my newly adopted rabbit for her first visit to get her established. They basically informed me that I should put her down. They said she has dental disease and if I did not want to put the time, money and effort into her, that putting her down would be the best thing because her quality of life would be horrible. She is two years old and she did have overgrown teeth that could be trimmed, and they claimed after taking horrible x-rays that she had a ton of abscess, I called the rescue that I got her from and they asked me to take her to a different vet to get a second opinion . I did that and I am thankful that I did. She did get a trim and she had a minor abscess and that tooth has since been pulled and she is a perfectly healthy rabbit. Caring Animal Hospital informed me I would have to spend thousands of dollars and possibly take her out of state for Dental work. But again kept informing me that she would be in so much pain and her quality of life would be horrible and to put her down. I am so thankful I got that second opinion. They claim to be exotic vets, but I don’t feel that they have enough schooling, education, or in the very least bedside manner. Always get that second opinion!

Sure, we were seen at the time appointed, and had great care. The really big difference is the lengths they went to to make my pup comfortable. We've never been to another vet that used pheromones to help relieve our pet's anxiety, and gave her something nice to lick while she was being given her injections. Our pup usually is tremoring and afraid at the vet, but at this visit she was obviously much more comfortable.

I highly recommend Caring Animal Hospital, all of the staff there are friendly and helpful. The doctors are all very knowledgeable and take the time to get to know your pet and you, and always give good personalized advice. It’s easy to book appointments through the app or on the phone.
