Deanna, RVT, CCFT, CCART took wonderful care of my boy today on his first Physical Therapy/Rehab consultation! She did a thorough evaluation with Dr. Gilene’s help and developed a treatment plan including simple home exercises (to fit our busy lifestyle), and weekly water treadmill to help Strider feel comfortable again. Deanna was kind, gentle, and considerate while handling Strider and so patient with my endless questions. Highly recommend not only for illness/injury adjunctive therapy, but also for sport fitness and conditioning. Only wish we had visited sooner! Can’t wait for our next visit!

I’ve been bringing my cats here for the past couple of years. The staff always takes really great care of them, even when they are difficult to handle. The office staff, technicians, and veterinarians have all been very kind and supportive. I also appreciate the texts they send to check in after the dental cleanings or when one has needed medication. They were also able to squeeze in a last minute appointment when one of my chickens needed euthanasia. It’s really hard to find someone able to help with chickens, but as always, they took really great care of her in her final moments. It’s a big relief to have a practice I trust to provide the best care!

Services were okay. I've never spent 2 hours at a vet before when I had an appointment, but I know there are things I cannot see behind the scenes. I assume I saw a doctor, but I'm unsure because they never introduced themselves. No names or titles were offered from any of the 4 people that entered our room. They also had to stick my pup 4 times for his pro heart injection, which seemed a little much to me. Then, the prices were absolutely through the roof. I'm a multi pup owner, and my pups have always gone to vets for their annual exams, regular shots, heartworm and flea preventions, and I've never hesitated to get them any additional treatments or medications that they may need. They are big dogs, and taking proper care of your animals can be expensive no matter the size, but I have never paid such high prices for any of these things. $100 for an annual exam, which was subpar at best compared to others my pups have received. They barely touched either pup and didn't even look at one's teeth. The 12 month pro heart injection was $113.82 MORE than what I paid at my last vet less than a year ago (same dosage for a dog in the same size range). I understand inflation and that prices change yearly. I get that. But $113.82 increase in less than a year's time? I just can't see how that is accurate. I will likely be shopping around for another vet with more reasonable pricing.

Dr Schmidtchen and her technician, Deanna, are amazing! Very kind and great at what they do! My pup graduated physical therapy today, and I couldn't be more grateful! Highly recommend!

This week our 17 year old male rabbit, Dante, could no longer use his back legs. He could still eat and drink but he was unable to get up. He had also stopped urinating. We took him to see Dr. Gilane to see if anything could be done. We knew the diagnosis, but we had to ask. Dr. Gilane gave him a shot to take away his pain and let us spend some time with him. Because of the weather I was delayed burying him. Today I opened the little coffin he was in, and found him in a small blanket that he would have loved. He was beautiful and looked like a young bunny again. The people at Care-Pets were so nice and considerate.
