Care Animal Clinic

After moving to the area, I took my time to look into veterinary services, especially since my dog had always gotten great care where I lived before. Everything went well the first time I went to Care Animal Clinic, and I felt at ease about my dog having dental surgery cleaning. I dropped him off just before 8:30 am on the day of the treatment, and everything went smoothly during the drop-off. I was told I would get a call when it was time to pick him up. But when 2:30 pm came around, and there were still no updates, I wondered about my dog and called for an update. The person who answered the phone checked with the vet and told me my dog was just waking up. They told me I would need to call back in an hour for more information regarding whether my dog was ready for pickup. I thought this was strange because they had initially said they would get in touch with me. When I got there to pick up my dog, the staff I saw was nice and polite and apologized, mentioning it had been a hectic day. The vet was his usually welcoming and friendly self, which I liked. However, what surprised me afterward was no one from the center had called to see how my dog was doing. It's now more than a week later. This may seem silly, but it's not for me or aligned with the experience I’m used to. I think this clinic could very well live up to its reviews, considering the vet genuinely cares about his work and the staff for the most part is polite. However, they seem short-staffed, which can impact their business and the service customers and their pets recieve.

My dog was having an allergic reaction to something and I could not resolve it. One visit and she is a hundred times better. I'm kicking myself for not bringing her in sooner. I highly recommend care animal clinic. I've also brought my dog George here for prolotherapy which is just an wonderful alternative to surgery if the dog is a good fit for it. You won't find a veterinary practice like this anymore these days, the entire team is amazing.

New puppy visit! The doctor was thorough and gave great advice and suggestions. After checking our puppies ears, he even had us look under the microscope to confirm what he expected, ear mites. He treated both of her ears and she is good to go!

Took my dog since he had a abscess. The staff was very knowledgeable and informative. They were super quick. Highly recommend.

Excellent care, friendly staff, and fair prices! We drive from North Aurora to take our cats and dog here. Dr. Sunny is amazing!
