At Capeside Animal Hospital, compassion for animals is a core value, as highlighted in a positive customer review. One pet owner shared, "They really are so compassionate for your pet. Our Bandit was in such poor health when we adopted this 7 year old but Capeside took care of him and now he's like a 7 month old puppy!! The staff is very helpful and friendly and the Doctors are amazing Thank you everyone at Capeside ❤️🐾❤️🐾❤️" This testimonial speaks to the dedication and care provided by the doctors and staff, showcasing their ability to significantly improve the health and quality of life for their patients.

The services offered at Capeside Animal Hospital appear to be comprehensive, as indicated by the successful treatment of a senior dog with significant health issues. While the specific range of services is not fully detailed in the provided reviews, it is reasonable to assume they include general wellness care, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. The mention of vaccinations and microchipping in the context of appointment scheduling also confirms these as part of their service offerings.

One of the notable features of Capeside Animal Hospital, based on the positive review, is the compassionate and skilled nature of their doctors and the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. The transformation of a senior dog's health from "poor" to that of a "7 month old puppy" underscores the expertise and dedication of the veterinary team.

However, it is important to also consider the feedback regarding appointment availability. Two separate customers expressed significant disappointment with the long wait times for basic services like vaccinations. One reviewer who called to schedule vaccinations for grooming purposes was told the next available appointment was a month away, which they deemed "unacceptable." Another customer who recently relocated and was behind on routine care also found the long wait for basic shots problematic, especially as they were needed to access other essential services like grooming. These reviews suggest that while the quality of care may be high, appointment availability for routine services could be a significant challenge for some pet owners.

The discrepancy between the positive feedback regarding the quality of care and the negative feedback regarding appointment wait times indicates a potential issue with scheduling capacity versus demand for services, particularly for routine procedures. While the hospital may excel in treating sick or complex cases, the long wait for basic preventative care could be a point of concern for pet owners needing timely services.

Promotional information is not mentioned in the provided reviews. To learn about any current specials, new client offers, or wellness plans that Capeside Animal Hospital might offer, it is best to contact them directly at (910) 383-2100. They can provide you with the most up-to-date information on their services and any potential cost-saving options.

In summary, Capeside Animal Hospital in Belville, NC, is described as a compassionate Pet Hospital with amazing doctors and helpful, friendly staff who are capable of providing excellent care, even for pets with significant health issues. Their services include at least general wellness care, treatment for illnesses, vaccinations, and microchipping. However, potential clients should be aware of reported long wait times for basic services like vaccinations, which may impact their ability to access timely care. For specific information on the full range of services, appointment availability, and any current promotions, please contact Capeside Animal Hospital directly.

II called this clinic to schedule vaccinations for my dog so I could get him groomed and make him more comfortable in this hot, humid weather. Unfortunately, I was told the next available appointment is a month away—which is just unacceptable for something as basic and essential as vaccinations. I recently relocated from the West Coast and, in the chaos of the move, fell behind on some of his routine care like updating his microchip and vaccinations. I understand things get busy, but basic services like shots shouldn't have such a long wait, especially when they're needed just to access other essential care like grooming. Very disappointed and now left scrambling to find another option. Thank you for you're time.

Hands down the best Veterinarian hospital I've visited. My big ole baby is happy to go see everyone there. They are professional and courteous, from the Office staff to the Vet and assistants. They take time to explain everything and make sure you understand the plan of care etc. The location is easy to access. They always keep the office clean from the waiting area to the exam rooms. I would definitely recommend them for any pet care you need.

I recently moved back to the area and was looking for a new vet for my cat and mini schnauzer. While most vets are good with dogs, it takes a special person to deal with cats, especially my sweet Izzy. Capeside has a separate cat entrance and has vets who specialize in dealing with cats. I found Dr. Phillips who is remarkable and is definitely the "cat whisperer". 🐈 Izzy felt very at ease with him and the entire process was so much less stressful for Izzy than with any other vet with whom we've seen. The entire process from check-in to leaving in her crate to my car was seamless and such a great experience for me and Izzy. Thank you Dr. Phillips and everyone at Capeside for making this a great new experience. My 1.5 year old mini schnauzer will be coming in June and I hope she has just as great as an experience as Izzy. Back when I lived in Southport in the early 2000s, I took my mini schnauzer to see Dr. Hanby with Capeside and loved her. Her practice has grown and added some great new vets.
