I tried contacting several places to neuter a stray cat that kept hanging around my house. Cape Fear Spay and Neuter Clinic was the one that responded and answered all my questions, and promptly! They took good care of my new cat, Peeper, and I ended up doing all the vacs plus neuter for a fraction of the cost of a regular vet office here in Wilmington. I highly recommend this place. The people there are super friendly as well....

The core services offered by Cape Fear Spay/Neuter Clinic, as the name suggests, include spaying (ovariohysterectomy) for female cats and dogs and neutering (orchiectomy) for male cats and dogs. These essential surgical procedures play a crucial role in controlling pet overpopulation and offer numerous health and behavioral benefits for individual animals. Beyond these primary services, the reviews indicate that the clinic also provides additional veterinary care, such as vaccinations. One customer specifically mentioned receiving all necessary vaccinations for a stray cat in addition to the neuter surgery, and at a significantly lower cost compared to a regular veterinary office in Wilmington. This suggests that Cape Fear Spay/Neuter Clinic may offer a range of preventative care services alongside their spay and neuter programs. Furthermore, a review mentions the clinic providing urgent care and acting quickly in a potentially life-threatening situation for a dog, indicating their capacity to handle more than just routine procedures. A significant feature of Cape Fear Spay/Neuter Clinic, consistently emphasized in the customer testimonials, is their commitment to affordability without compromising the quality of care. The comparison made by one reviewer to the cost of services at a regular veterinary office highlights the economic advantage of choosing this clinic, particularly for spay and neuter procedures and potentially other preventative care like vaccinations. This accessibility makes essential veterinary care more attainable for a wider range of pet owners and animal rescuers in the community.

Another standout feature is the compassionate and professional nature of the staff. Multiple reviews praise the friendly and caring attitude of the people working at the clinic. One customer specifically thanked the staff for "protecting my heart" while their pet was in their care, indicating a deep level of trust and comfort. The instance where the staff acted quickly and with genuine care during a dog's urgent health situation further underscores their dedication to animal welfare and their ability to handle critical situations with professionalism and empathy. This combination of affordability and compassionate care makes Cape Fear Spay/Neuter Clinic a valuable resource for the local pet community.

While specific promotional offers are not mentioned in the provided reviews, the very nature of a spay/neuter clinic often implies a commitment to providing these essential services at a more accessible price point than traditional veterinary hospitals. This in itself can be considered a form of community support and affordability promotion. The positive word-of-mouth from satisfied customers, highlighting the cost-effectiveness and quality of care, serves as a powerful endorsement for the clinic. Ww couldn't be more grateful to all the people at this clinic. We adopted two 7 months old cats. we received quotes on caring for them and wondered if we could handle it. A coworker recommended CFSN and we immediately knew we could do this reasonably. We had to wait a few months but The clinic was incredible. The staff was great. No surprises and they gave us clear instructions on after surgery care. They made it possible to Spay Neuter and get all shots at a very low cost. There is no way this place is in it for profit. They are a true blessing. Our two cats are back to playing and healthy. Adopting a pet is possible with a place like this.

I had an outstanding experience with Cape Fear Spay and Neuter when I brought my dog, River, in for his neutering. From start to finish, the staff was incredibly professional, kind, and compassionate. They made sure I was fully informed and answered all my questions, easing any concerns I had. The procedure went smoothly, and River was up and about quickly afterward. I’m so grateful for the excellent care he received! I highly recommend Cape Fear Spay and Neuter to anyone looking for reliable and compassionate pet care.

My female doodle's spleen was "nicked" during surgery so we had to monitor her for internal bleeding, which was scary. The clinic kept tabs on her overnight and the following morning via text. I appreciated the follow-up.
