Dr. Ennis at Canyon View is the best vet in the area and safe to say they are a rare top tier highly recommended vet office in the metro area! I (selfishly) want to keep them a secret, but I know that there are other people out there who have struggled with finding a good vet and we need more practices and vets like canyon view. The first time my husband and I took our girl cats (15 and 3 now) to see Dr. Ennis, we were shocked by her thorough examination. It’s been a long time since we’ve had a vet do so much hands on during a routine check up and palpated every inch of my cats with tubes of Churu ready to go! Not only do my cats feel safe with Dr. Ennis, but she takes such amazing care of them and it feels so good knowing they are in her care. She is informative, direct and answers any and all questions that the humans have before we even get a chance to ask. She is so personable and make that “harder” info. way more easy to digest. She knows that we know our cats and works accordingly with zero worries about ego. She is also realistic with money, budgets and what is necessary for our cats and what we could do to err on the side of caution. She has a soft spot for geriatric kitties and I love that my 15 (almost 16!) year old has her as her vet. She needed a few teeth extracted which went so well regarding the stressful circumstances; I just know that whole team made it easy for us. The front desk called and updated us throughout the day, which we so appreciated. She also has a murmur that is regularly checked, along with referring to a cardiologist to make sure she was safe for anesthesia. I was able to refer my friend (with 2 dogs & 2 cats) and Dr. Ennis quite literally saved one my her pups life. She has been so amazing and attentive with my friends through that process, which isn’t easy. Said pup is now thriving! The vet techs are fantastic! They are empathetic, intuitive and just the best all around while keeping that place running like a well oiled machine. We were struggling to find that “knows you by name and what you need” (while also providing great care) kind of vet in the metro area for over a decade and finally getting into canyon view has given us immense peace of mind. It seems they can figure out a root cause of an issue, rather than just a band-aid temporary fix with loads of expensive testing and taxing visits. I know that if one of our girls has an issue, they will do their best to squeeze them in for an emergency visit during business hours. Dr. Ennis trusts that we know when our older baby is having an UTI and doesn’t put her through the stress of going to the vet, even if it’s just basically across the street, and will write a RX for her to heal and stay comfortable at home. The reception team is kind, prompt, caring and clearly love animals. I also love their clinic cat! Massive gratitude, thanks and respect to the reception/admin team for their hard work and punctual communication with the vets, techs and pet parents!! We appreciate you! I could not recommend them enough if they’re taking new patients. I only wish we could have gotten in sooner when my cat, who has now passed, was sick. I know we all wouldn’t have suffered like we did going back and forth to the ER vet and past vet who was recommending surgery 2 days before she was put down, while also taking her to ex-vet 2x that week begging for help. My cat was clearly sick and it was negligent care looking back once we processed it all. We were paying off ER vet CC debt after she passed. I can say this without a freaking doubt and would bet a lot that the time leading up to my late cats end of life would’ve been an entirely different and positive experience with Canyon View. Do not hesitate to call and trust your animals with them; they love them just as much and you will be grateful you can call them your vet!

After trying 5 different Littleton vets over the last six years… I’m so relieved to say we found our forever vet!! My three beggars love them too! Excellent personalized care, so thorough, great follow through, and really good with my eldest who gets anxious at the vet. So happy we found them!!!

An amazing team of pet health-professionals! They know how to handle our nervous and dog-reactive pup, and our lovey-dovey cat. Our little furballs are always well-taken care of with the Canyon View team!

Entire staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr Claire is so knowledgeable and makes me feel like my dogs are in the best hands for a long life with our family ♥️ We drive from north Denver to see her!

Canyon View Animal Hospital is absolutely amazing! Dr. Ennis is very knowledgable and takes the time to explain all possibilities and options with you. We really appreciate her help with our senior doggie.
