Canterbury Animal Hospital

My Husky and I had a great experience at Canterbury Animal Hospital a couple weeks back. Our Husky has diabetes and it’s been a process to get her levels stable but the team has been very helpful.

We love Canterbury Animal Hospital! All of the staff are so kind, gentle and knowledgeable. I absolutely love the vets. They do not push unnecessary care on you and your pet. Our male was just spayed at their clinic and I was so impressed with how fast the incision healed. They use a laser treatment that speeds up the healing process. They took such good care of our little guy. Their pricing is fair and reasonable.

The whole team is incredible. I found Cantebury Animal hospital after many failed attempts at finding a good vet. My sweet cat is almost 18 years old. Him and I are both very needy when it comes to his care. They have been able to catch and diagnose many issues and find a treatment plan that is working well so far. I present them with many questions and they are always on top of the knowledge already or are finding out the information requested in a timely manner. They are kind, compassionate and thorough. They have a great balance of experience & practicality while also being gentle & understanding. I refuse to take Dante anywhere else and am fortunate to have him in their care during these complicated times. I’ve had some previous vets handle him rough, however, at Cantebury they are sweet and gentle with my old man. He is always calm and anxiety free when we go there which to me is a telling sign of their careful handling. I cannot recommend them enough. Jacq and Taylor have been my rocks. Dr. Hagerty is very knowledgeable, rational, level headed and so so kind. If you’re looking for a reliable vet definitely check them out.

This hospital is fantastic. The staff are phenomenal; the front desk team is on the ball with answering phones, and polite and courteous whenever they do have to put us on a (brief) hold. The veterinarian who saw us was so kind and very patient with the many questions we had, and answered said questions thoroughly. The vet tech who we see most often is named Rose and she is an absolute gem. She cares so deeply for all the animals she sees at the clinic, and it shows in everything she does. I cannot recommend this place enough to anyone who wants their pet to be happy and healthy.

Easy to make an appointment. Friendly staff and Dr. Access and parking are excellent. I wish I would have found them sooner. :)
