My dog hurt his paws. He had been there one time in the past when he was sick and I liked the doctor and his assistant very much. The place is very clean for a veterinary clinic. The front staff wasnt as helpful or friendly as they could have been but they weren't rude. Just not very pleasant or attentive. But all I care about is the doctor. He explained everything in detail and so I could understand it. He could have done a ton more test and over charged me but he didn't. He was professional, well mannered and seemed to honestly care about the animals, their owners and his job. His assistant that gets your info and takes your dog back was super sweet. I was nervous and she talked calm and spoke to my dog so he wasn't afraid and took him to the back with no problem. He is a 3 year old boxer who is very protective but very sweet. I'll be taking my boy there for all of his shots and any medical needs he has. Thank you so so much!!!!

Welcome to Burnsville Veterinary Clinic

Welcome to Burnsville Veterinary Clinic, serving the Burnsville, North Carolina community with veterinary care for your beloved pets. As a local veterinary hospital, we aim to provide medical services for animals in a clean and professional environment.

Based on customer feedback, Burnsville Veterinary Clinic offers a setting that at least one reviewer found to be "very clean for a veterinary clinic." This suggests attention to hygiene within the facility. The same reviewer expressed a positive experience with the doctor, noting that he "explained everything in detail" and seemed to genuinely care about the animals, their owners, and his profession. This client also appreciated that the doctor was not inclined to over-test or overcharge and described him as "professional" and "well mannered." The veterinary assistant who handled patient intake was also described as "super sweet" and effective at calming nervous animals.

However, it is important to consider another customer's experience, which was significantly negative. This reviewer described the service as a "joke," stating that "no one truly cared about my animals here" and that they "barely saw the doctor during the visit." They also noted that the front desk staff made minimal eye contact and found the overall experience to be "sub par." This customer ultimately sought a second opinion elsewhere and attributed a potentially life-saving diagnosis to that alternative care, advising others to seek veterinary services in nearby Johnson City or Asheville instead.

Located at 210 Burnsville School Rd, Burnsville, NC 28714, USA, Burnsville Veterinary Clinic can be contacted at (828) 682-2100 or +1 828-682-2100. Given the mixed reviews regarding the front staff's attentiveness and the level of doctor interaction, local users may want to consider these perspectives when choosing a veterinary care provider. We recommend contacting the clinic directly to inquire about their services and approach to patient care to determine if they meet your specific needs and expectations.

This place is a joke. No one truly cared about my animals here. I barely saw the doctor during the visit. The front desk girls barely made eye contact. It was all sub par. Glad I got a second opinion in johnson city amd found out the real problem with my pup and now am able to take care of her. If I just listened to the non educated bs from this doctor my dog would have passed without me knowing why. Don't go to this backwoods poophole and see a professional in johnson city or Asheville.

Had our adored cat fixed yesterday. I was warned she may not be hungry as was on pain meds. We got home she ate and has steadily been playing with her sister as if nothing occurred. Thank you for such good care.

Horrible experience the vet was very rude and was much more interested in telling me that I have a bad dog than providing him with quality care. I made it very clear from the beginning that he had never been to a vet before and I wasn’t sure how he would act plus he doesn’t like men very much. He was what I thought was excessively rough from the beginning and didn’t fully even look at the split nail we brought him in for. I would have paid for any medication that would’ve calmed him down enough to be fully examined but was never offered anything more than a broken mussel that wouldn’t stay on. Overall it was a very horrible experience for both me and my 2 year old boxer mix and I will not be back and recommend to anyone else looking for quality care for there furry companion to look elsewhere also.

I recently visited this vet and had a very disappointing experience. The staff were unprofessional and seemed uninterested in providing quality care for my pet. When we finally saw the vet, they were rushed and did not address all of our concerns( ex. Grabbing my dog by throat, forcing him down and making him whine excessively). I would not recommend this vet to anyone looking for compassionate and thorough care for their pets.
