Best vet ever! Dr. Hamilton and her staff are incredibly thorough and worked so hard to make sure my dog is comfortable and non-stressed by the visit. They give toys to the dog so she can calm down when she comes in and then they spend a lot of time petting her and staying low to the ground so they don’t scare her. Medically, they are top notch!

Customer reviews present a stark contrast in experiences at Burns Court Veterinary Care. One reviewer praised Dr. Hamilton and her staff for their incredibly thorough and compassionate approach. They highlighted the clinic's efforts to make their dog comfortable and stress-free, including providing toys and spending time petting the animal. They also commended the clinic's top-notch medical care.

However, another reviewer shared a deeply distressing experience involving their Maltese, Stewy. They sought a second opinion from Dr. Hamilton for Stewy's severe allergies. They described multiple treatments, including laser therapy and a heart CT scan, and noted that Stewy underwent weekly treatments that lasted for hours. Over time, they noticed Stewy's weight loss, but initially attributed it to allergies. After a treatment, they expressed concern to Dr. Hamilton about Stewy's condition, but were told she didn't have time to examine him and to return the following week.

Subsequently, they took Stewy to another veterinarian, Dr. Brodie, where an X-ray revealed congenital heart disease. Despite immediate efforts, Stewy passed away. The reviewer expressed devastation and anger, claiming that Dr. Hamilton failed to recognize Stewy's drastic weight loss and misdiagnosed his condition, costing him precious time and his life. They strongly warned other pet owners to think twice before entrusting their animals to this clinic.

The reviews indicate a significant disparity in experiences. While some clients have found the clinic's staff to be compassionate and thorough, others have raised serious concerns about diagnostic accuracy and patient management, particularly in cases involving complex or critical conditions.

The clinic's ability to provide compassionate and comforting care is evident in the positive review. However, the negative review highlights potential issues with timely diagnosis and the handling of critical cases.

Burns Court Veterinary Care is recommended with extreme caution. Potential clients should carefully consider the mixed reviews and ask detailed questions about diagnostic procedures and follow-up care. It is strongly recommended to seek second opinions, especially in cases involving complex or potentially life-threatening conditions. Due to the severe nature of the negative review, careful consideration should be taken before deciding to entrust the care of a pet to this clinic.

I took my beloved Maltese, Stewy, to Dr. Josie Hamilton at Burns Court Animal Clinic for a second opinion regarding his severe allergies. She conducted multiple treatments, including laser therapy for his swollen paws and a heart CT scan, as she claimed to have heard a murmur but assured me his heart was strong. Stewy underwent weekly treatments that took hours at her office. Over time, I noticed he was losing weight, but I initially attributed it to his allergies. However, after one of these treatments, I became deeply concerned about his condition and asked Dr. Hamilton to examine him. Shockingly, she told me she didn’t have time and instructed me to bring him back the following week. Feeling uneasy, I took Stewy to Dr. Brodie at Huber’s Animal Hospital, where an X-ray revealed he had congenital heart disease. Despite immediate efforts to save him, it was too late—Stewy had lost four pounds, nearly half his body weight, and his little body couldn’t fight anymore. I am devastated and angry. Dr. Hamilton failed to recognize his drastic weight loss and misdiagnosed his condition, costing my dog precious time and, ultimately, his life. I strongly believe that had she done her due diligence, Stewy might still be here today. I am sharing my experience to warn other pet owners. If you love your animal, please think twice before entrusting them to this clinic.

Always a pleasant clean and calming environment the vet techs ,the receptionist are all so very kind and caring. And I cannot say enough about the veterinarian. She is amazing and really cares about each and every animal. I am so happy with all the care my animals are given.

Luna has a had tumor in-between her toes of the back of her paw and other medical options were stating that she would have to loose her her paw in order to remove it. DR. HAMILTON was able to remove it ans we only lost a toe. My English bulldog is 12years old so it was a very difficult to figure out what to do for her as owner, now this old lady artritis and allergies to worry about. For sure happy with the experiences and Luna likes it as well.

Such a great experience!!! Dr. Hamilton, the front desk, and the vet tech were the sweetest. My dog is so afraid of going to the vet. They had toys, treats and a lick mat to help her. When we came in we were able to go right into the room and we didn’t have to wait. Dr. Hamilton took her time with Butters, and explained everything to me. You can tell everyone there truly loves animals and will do anything to help make the experience better. So relieved that we have found our forever vets office!
