Over the past 8 years I have experienced the best vet care for my dog Max and my cats Rascal and Tigger. The admin staff has always remained courteous and professional showing concern and care for my pets as if it was their own pet. Each of the vets I’ve been privileged to see with these three fur babies have all been outstanding! Recently I brought Rascal in who is my more nervous furbaby and Dr. Alt was very calm and kind and Rascal breezed through his appointment with flying colors (black and white kitty). Again, any vet in this office is true pet lovers and explains things well. They even call after appointments to make sure the pet who just had the appointment is fine after shots and such. Anytime any of my friends ask for a vet recommendation I tell them about Burke Veterinary Clinic without hesitation. Go now! You will not regret it. ❤️🥰

They were excellent with routine care but when I called them for support when my dog was bleeding out from a cut paw, they tried to send me to Falls Church and Fairfax during rush hour. I called another vet who sent us 3.5 miles to the Springfield ER where he only survived because they put him on an IV before we even discussed treatment. When I called the vet to explain why we were no longer returning, there was no apology and no promise to update their ER lists to reasonable distances.

Burke Vet Center has been my vet for over 20 years. Dr. Carter, Dr Alt, and the other vets and staff are always wonderful to work with and take great care of our pets. Highly recommend!

I was so lucky to have found Burke Veterinary clinic and will never take my pets anywhere else! We have seen Dr. Alt and all of the vets there and absolutely we love them all! Everyone there is so friendly & compassionate with both the pets and the owners. Can’t say enough great things about this practice!! Update 12/16/2024 We LOVE Burke Veterinary Clinic. Every Doctor is great and so is the full team of Technicians, specialists and office staff. You could not ask for a better team to care for your pets!!

Our Labrador ( a change of career dog now) just had his 8 year physical here. We have always had a great experience with the staff and their care of him. My sister and I raised him as a service puppy for Canine Companions - Burke Veterinary Clinic provided free care in support of us as puppy raisers during his first 2 years!
