Burke Animal Clinic

I have been going to Burke Animal Clinic for 10 years. Dr. Colvin is our main doctor, but if he were unavailable and we couldn't wait, I wouldn't hesitate to have another of the doctors take care of our dogs. Great staff and great communication. BAC is not the closest veterinary hospital to where we live, but knowing that our dogs will get great care is worth the extra few miles for us. I recommend these folks without hesitation.

I just moved here from across the country and had not had time to establish a vet. My dog was epileptic and was suffering from the seizures. I found you through a Google search and above and beyond by far the absolute right choice for end of life care. To say I was impressed by the love and care for a dog they never treated and a resident who just moved here is an understatement. The compassion shown and the overall process was heartfelt and touching for someone who had to make a hard choice for the love of their dog. You all are wonderful and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I can't say enough good things about our experience! This was the best veterinary care my fur babies have ever had. The doctor and vet tech were so friendly and welcoming, making us feel like family. They were incredibly accommodating and listened attentively to all my concerns, answering my questions with impressive precision and clarity. It's clear they truly care about animals, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional veterinary care.

Huge thanks to all of the staff at Burke Animal Clinic for providing the absolute best vet care in northern Virginia! #1 in my book. All of the staff are super friendly and supportive throughout the visits I’ve incurred. And I could not ask for better vets! All of the doctors are absolutely wonderful and visibly love what they do. We have had multiple pet cats cared for by Burke Animal Clinic over the years and their lifetimes. We are very, very pleased with the care! Whether regular annual check-ups or more detailed visits addressing care for things like thyroid issues and cancer, the care has been professional, thoughtful, and thorough. It is also somewhat inevitable that we humans outlive our pets, so I am especially grateful for the sensitivity and compassion this clinic has shown not only my pets, but also me and my grown children (!!) whenever we encountered a pet illness or, ultimately, an end of life decision. We have always felt our pets were respected and loved not just during the easy times, but also during the very hard times of their/our lives. It's not something we want to think about, but we all should. Thank you, Burke Animal Clinic.
