I had a minor emergency with my dog and they took me right away even though they are not my primary vet. The care and expertise was terrific. Dr. Richardson explained exactly how he was going to treat the injury in a way I could understand. No upsell, just simple medicine. So now, I am moving all my dogs and cat over to his clinic. We love Dr Richardson and his staff! Everyone is always so welcoming and helpful! Our rescue has so many health issues but Dr Richardson has been so patient with us in trying to find solutions to our pet’s issues and our big pup, Seamus, loves them all! I moved to Bulverde about 15 months ago and got a puppy shortly after moving here. I decided to go to this vet because it was so close to home. I’m glad I did, Dr. Richardson and his staff are very kind and have taken wonderful care of Sheldon and have been very nice and helpful to my husband and me. I have absolutely no complaints , he’s a very good doctor.

We woke up on a Saturday morning to a critically ill cat. Bulverde Animal Hospital opened at 8:00, so we hopped in the car and waited in the parking lot. We had never been there before. To be honest, we chose it because it opened the soonest. Dr. Richardson and his staff worked quickly to save our cat’s life. They were kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. We will never go anywhere else

Bulverde Animal Hospital is a great place to take your pets. I have 4 dogs and have consistently been able to get an appointment when I needed it. The staff is friendly, caring and supportive. Thank you !
