One enthusiastic customer shared their positive experience, highlighting that "Dr Megan Leach and everyone there were awesome!" They noted that their normally protective dog felt comfortable enough to be approached, petted, and even licked by Dr. Leach upon their first visit, which the owner found remarkable and reassuring. This initial interaction immediately instilled confidence that they had chosen the right veterinary clinic. The reviewer expressed happiness in finding Brushy Creek Veterinary Clinic and extended their thanks for the great care received.

Another detailed review describes a "new patient Meet & Greet appointment" with Dr. Megan for their Basset Hound, Mr. Potter, who is described as a very anxious dog with some "not-so-great experiences" with groomers and vet techs in the past, particularly concerning nail trims. The owner reported having a "GREAT visit" and found Dr. Megan to be "wonderfully kind" to Mr. Potter. Demonstrating a gentle and patient approach, Dr. Megan sat on the floor in the exam room, fully engaging and investing in winning the dog's trust.

The reviewer noted Dr. Megan's sensitivity to Mr. Potter's past anxieties, taking the necessary time to help him feel comfortable and see her as a friend. She used small treats and spoke to him affectionately about his features. Dr. Megan also paid close attention to his body language and facial expressions, respecting his cues. Impressively, Mr. Potter even performed several treat tricks with her, which the owner found wonderful to witness. During the appointment, they discussed Mr. Potter's overall health, standard care and maintenance for dogs, and specific needs for Basset Hounds. They also planned a follow-up "Spa Day" to conduct a thorough examination and address these needs. I took my Basset Hound, Mr Potter, to a new patient Meet & Greet appointment where we met Dr Megan. We had a GREAT visit and she was wonderfully kind to my very anxious doggie! She sat on the floor on the exam room and was fully engaged & invested on winning his trust. Not even 3 years old, he's had enough "not-so-great experiences" with groomers and bad vet techs in the past (especially nail trims), that he is leary of anyone's intentions.) Megan took all the time needed to help him to learn that she was his friend. She fed him little treats and talked to him all about his sweet, floppy face & wrinkles, and his velvety long ears. She took cues from his body language and facial expressions to know that he was listening to her. He did several treat tricks with her (giving each of his paws, laying down, going around, whispering) which was a wonderful thing to watch! We talked about about his health and standard care and maintenance for a dog and specifically for Basset Hounds, and planned our next visit to do a "Spa Day" to examine him & take care of to those needs. I am very pleased with this interaction between myself, Mr Potter and Dr Megan! And I will add more information about this veterinary practice on our return visit in two weeks. Stay tuned!

Excellent visit to Brushy Creek Veterinary Clinic for lab work for our cat. Received friendly reminders before the visit; was greeting promptly upon arriving; lab work was done quickly; checkout was quick and friendly; received a follow-up call from Dr Leach who went over all the results and explained them all very clearly. Wonderful clinic; friendly, professional and very supportive. Super satisfied, as always!
