I’ve been taking my dog to this clinic for the past five years, and I have to say—what was once a trustworthy place has gone completely downhill. The quality of care has drastically declined, and it’s clear they are more interested in making money than actually helping your pet. Instead of addressing the root cause of an issue, they only treat the symptoms, ensuring you keep coming back and spending more. No one takes the time to look at your pet’s full medical history to develop a real treatment plan. In fact, I’ve received better advice and care from an urgent care clinic than from this place. Transparency and communication are also major issues. When they take your pet to the back for treatment, they don’t clearly explain what happened or what was done. A prime example—my dog had back issues in August and, in pain, reacted when handled, which is completely normal for any animal (or even a human!). Without informing me, they decided from that point on to muzzle him every visit. No one ever discussed this with me, and I only found out months later. To make matters worse, different staff members gave me conflicting information. A new doctor in December refused to come near my dog, citing a note in my chart stating he’s “protective of me when I’m around.” But when I called to clarify, another staff member said the incident that led to this note happened when I wasn’t even present. Three different people, three different explanations—how can anyone trust a place with such inconsistency? If you truly care about your pet’s well-being, take them somewhere else. This clinic no longer prioritizes compassionate, transparent, and thorough care. Don’t risk your fur baby’s health here!

Welcome to Brookfield Veterinary Hospital
Welcome to Brookfield Veterinary Hospital, located at 6535 E Lake Sammamish Pkwy NE in Redmond, Washington. Based on recent online reviews, experiences at our clinic appear to be varied, with some long-term clients expressing significant concerns while others report consistently positive interactions.
The environment at Brookfield Veterinary Hospital, according to one long-term customer, has shifted negatively over the past five years. They describe a situation where the focus seems to be more on generating revenue through repeated symptom treatment rather than addressing the root causes of pet health issues. This customer also points out a lack of transparency regarding treatments performed out of the owner's presence and inconsistencies in communication among different staff members. In contrast, another client of about three years consistently praises the efficiency of the staff and minimal wait times.
Services at Brookfield Veterinary Hospital include a range of veterinary care. However, one review suggests a potential feature of only treating symptoms rather than developing comprehensive treatment plans based on a pet's full medical history. This same review also highlights a lack of clear communication about procedures and conflicting information from different staff members. On a more positive note, a different customer commends a staff member named Elizabeth for her excellent bedside manner, attentiveness to concerns, and thorough knowledge, suggesting that the quality of care may depend on the specific staff member encountered.
A key feature of Brookfield Veterinary Hospital in Redmond, WA, appears to be the divided customer experiences. While one long-term client expresses serious concerns about a decline in care quality, transparency, and communication, another more recent client consistently reports positive experiences, particularly highlighting the exceptional service of a staff member named Elizabeth and the overall efficiency of the clinic. Local users should consider these contrasting viewpoints when evaluating Brookfield Veterinary Hospital for their pet care needs.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available. However, the positive feedback regarding the efficiency of the staff and the exceptional service provided by individuals like Elizabeth might be factors for some local users to consider. Conversely, the serious concerns raised by another long-term client about the quality of care and communication should also be taken into account.

Feb 16, 2025 · Sahar SamieiBeen coming here for about 3 years now and I’ve always had a positive experience. Elizabeth is my favorite! She has the very best bedside manner. She listens to your concerns and will take as much time as needed to make sure your pet’s needs are met. She’s incredibly knowledgeable, like seriously knows her stuff! The entire staff do an excellent job of getting you in and out and little to no wait. Very happy 😃
Feb 12, 2025 · Jodi de VriesBrookfield veterinary hospital is amazing for my GoldenDoodle puppy ‘Rusty’. I was truly amazed by their process and documentation towards taking care of a new puppy, things to consider (what to eat, what not, medical schedule, resources for training and other stuffs). As a first time puppy owner / companion, I’m extremely happy about everything with the hospital!
May 12, 2024 · Srikandh PA fairly long wait in exam room but the vet was very good and Sassy finally relaxed with her. There was a strange little man who seemed to belong there who just hung around the waiting room checking people out.going from one side of the room to the other, It was much more expensive than I expected. It will affect how often I can take Sassy and for what. Good place and highly rated but liked everything else the average person cannot afford services
Dec 16, 2024 · Leslie MastersWe recently had two visits at Brookfield for our two cats’ vaccination. Both went so well. Dr. Wright was great. My cats were very calm under her care. The shots were done amazingly fast and gentle that they didn’t even seem to feel it. I am glad there is such a great vet hospital so close to home.
