Loki, my Chihuahua, had a bad infection in his left front toe. I was able to get him in immediately!! Bella and Dr.Brandt were extremely comforting and pleasant with Loki. Dr. Brandt was very clear on the procedure and post care. Cost was very reasonable. I highly recommend Broadway Animal Hospital and Staff. Don't hesitate to use their services!!

I scheduled a $25 exam appointment online for my cat and selected Monday at 4:30 PM. I arranged time off work specifically to attend. However, I received a call stating that the appointment time was no longer available and would work for what they were trying to get from my cat and that I would need to reschedule for the morning instead. Due to the short notice, I had to ask a friend to take my cat in. After the exam, I was charged $80 instead of the advertised $25. Additionally, the staff were unable to determine what was wrong with my cat—his UTI test came back negative, and they recommended further diagnostics costing an additional $300–$400 just to explore other possibilities. I called the following day, on the 25th of last month, to ask about the unexpected charge. I was told it was a mistake and that I would receive a refund for the difference. However, on May 14, I received a call stating that no refund would be issued because the $25 wellness exam only applies to healthy animals, and since my cat was “unwell,” the full exam fee applied. This was not made clear at the time of scheduling. I even called beforehand to confirm the $25 fee, and no conditions were mentioned. Additionally, the front desk staff were not helpful or accommodating throughout this process. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this clinic due to the lack of transparency, miscommunication, and unprofessional handling of billing concerns.

Late 2024: It's taken me 7 months to recover and summon up the strength to say this: When a pet owner wants a nose print and a little fur upon having their pet euthanized (mine due to cancer complications), DON'T do it while the pet is still awake! The electric shaver scared the sweetest cat I ever had (I understand it had to be done for the needle in the beginning), and pressing clay and paper against her nose hard... it hurt not just her, but also me having to watch that. I tried to help her get ready for it and understand (boop), but it burns in my mind how she even had to go through that when she was already in so much pain. When our older dog passed in 2020 (onion toxicity from treat brand - the same happened to other people) what staff did then was they did the nose and paw print AFTER our pet was deceased, and packed it in the gift bag with her ashes when we came back and picked it up. I thought they would do the same for my cat, but several new employees replaced the previous ones, and they were not as experienced as them, and apparently they don't think 100% about a pet's comfort because it's about to die anyway, right? And in mid-2023, we were put in a dirty room. Several things, including blood on the scale and a side cupboard. I waited to see if the staff member would notice anything or simply wipe it out of routine. She was about to put my cat on it, so I pointed it out. She was about to use a wet paper towel, so I suggested since it's biohazard, doesn't it need hydrogen peroxide or other biohazard cleaning chemicals? She looked reluctant or annoyed, but gave in and used a strong-smelling wet wipe, then dried it off. I shouldn't have to tell people in any medical field how to do their job.

Always a positive experience with this clinic. I love how they are super sweet with my dog who is not a big fan of the doctor and ease him. I also appreciate text message reminders of vaccines to keep him updated and also remind me of appointments.

I live right by here. My dog has anxiety and does not like going most places. She goes here with no issues, and sits right on the scale in the lobby no problem. The med refills are seamless. Tech calls are on point. Vaccine records timely. Parking on the south side (22nd St.) is adequate. But, Dutch Bros traffic across the street, and Broadway corner, can be busy. Sometimes closes earlier than 6pm, so call ahead of time if you want to show up later.
