The key features of Broadfoot Veterinary Clinic that resonate strongly with its clientele revolve around its unique philosophical approach and the compassionate care provided. One prominent feature is the clinic's willingness and expertise in "trying to go the natural route if possible to treat my fur baby." This appeals greatly to pet owners who seek alternatives or complements to traditional veterinary care, emphasizing a less invasive and more holistic path to wellness. Dr. P.J. Broadfoot, who graduated from Kansas State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1981 and started her solo practice in Van Buren in 1982, has extensive experience and has lectured extensively on complementary medicine, even co-authoring a textbook on integrating complementary medicine into veterinary practice. This background underscores the depth of knowledge and commitment to integrative practices.
Another highly valued feature is the clinic's ability to "listen well." This is crucial for an integrative practice, as understanding the pet's history, lifestyle, and the owner's concerns is paramount to formulating an effective, individualized treatment plan that considers all aspects of the animal's well-being. The reviews also highlight the staff's "super friendly" and "very knowledgeable" demeanor, which contributes significantly to a positive client experience. The assurance that they "took good care of my Augie!" speaks to the quality of hands-on care and the trust clients place in the clinic. The individualized attention given to each "fur baby" is a recurring theme, suggesting that they treat pets not just as patients, but as cherished family members, with unique histories and needs. Their online presence indicates they require appointments, which likely ensures that each patient receives ample dedicated time with the veterinarian and staff.
Promotional information for Broadfoot Veterinary Clinic would strongly emphasize its identity as an integrative "Pet Hospital" that champions holistic and natural methods while still offering conventional veterinary services. Key messages would include their dedication to personalized care, their commitment to listening to pet owners, and their expertise in a wide array of complementary therapies like acupuncture, homeopathy, and ozone therapy. They would highlight how they strive to achieve optimal health for pets by considering their entire well-being, rather than just treating symptoms. Testimonials praising their compassionate and knowledgeable staff would be central to their messaging, attracting clients who value a holistic approach and a strong partnership with their veterinarian. The clinic would position itself as the ideal choice for pet owners in Van Buren, AR, and surrounding areas who are seeking a balanced, thoughtful, and natural approach to their pet's health, ensuring their "fur baby" receives care that aligns with their desire for wellness and a focus on natural healing.

Apr 15, 2025 · Diana SmithSuper friendly, very knowledgeable, and took good care of my Augie!
May 02, 2025 · James Wisdom, Jr.Horrible place. Doctor was rude when I wanted to stick to the laws and get my dog a rabies vaccine since she is due. She told me she could just give her a card, basically falsely showing she is up to date on it. I get not wanting to over medicate but let’s follow the laws still. She should be shut down. Again, very rude to me when she realized I was not on board with lying about my dog being vaccinated. Not my kind of place at all.
Apr 18, 2024 · Jamie KellerDr Broadfoot is a wonderful vet. She is very knowledgeable and caring. She has helped my dog with her cardiac issues and I feel at peace knowing that we have a good vet who uses holistic treatment. We had a great experience and we know she’s in good hands.
Aug 12, 2023 · Katie WhiteAmazing people and prices. Took both my new rescue puppies and my cat. It cost me 94$ in total including how much the pups first round of shots. We were laughing and had a really good time.
