I brought my dog Lovely today and met with Dr. Jon. Lovely is a rescue with a lot of anxiety and fear surrounding new people. However Dr. Jon was wonderful with her. He was empathetic and answered all of my questions and I had quite a few. I appreciated his compassion towards my baby, and how considerate he was in general. When he called me to follow up I asked again for his name, because he’s someone I’d want to use in the future. I’m very thankful I ended up with him for our visit!

Based on the available customer reviews, Dr. Jon Brandes is highlighted for his empathetic and compassionate approach to animal care.

One customer shared their experience bringing their rescue dog, Lovely, who suffers from anxiety and fear around new people. They specifically noted that "Dr. Jon was wonderful with her." His ability to connect with and care for an anxious dog speaks volumes about his demeanor and approach. The reviewer appreciated that Dr. Jon took the time to answer all of their questions thoroughly, indicating a commitment to clear communication and patient education. The compassion he showed towards Lovely and his general considerate nature left a lasting positive impression, so much so that the owner made a point to remember his name for future visits. This experience underscores Dr. Brandes's patient and understanding manner when dealing with pets who may be more sensitive or fearful during veterinary examinations.

Another long-term client shared that Dr. Brandes has been caring for their cats for over 13 years. This longevity speaks to the trust and satisfaction this pet owner has in his services. They recounted a particularly poignant experience with a stray cat who was often "cranky" at the vet, yet Dr. Brandes always welcomed him. His support during the difficult time when they had to euthanize their cat, just before his 17th birthday, further illustrates his compassionate nature and his role as a supportive partner in pet ownership through all stages of life. Currently, Dr. Brandes also provides care for their twin 3-year-old orange tabby cats, indicating a continued positive relationship and consistent quality of care over many years and multiple pets.

From these reviews, a primary feature of Brandes Jon DVM appears to be the personalized and compassionate care provided. Dr. Brandes is not just seen as a skilled veterinarian but also as someone who genuinely cares about the animals and their owners. His empathy, patience in addressing concerns, and gentle approach with animals, even those with anxiety, are recurring themes. The long-term relationship with one client further suggests a consistent level of quality and trust.

Regarding the environment of the "Pet Hospital," the reviews primarily focus on the interaction with Dr. Brandes himself rather than the physical clinic space. However, the positive experiences suggest a comfortable and professional setting where pet owners feel at ease entrusting their animals to his care. The emphasis on Dr. Brandes's personal approach implies that the quality of care is deeply tied to his individual practice and interactions.

The services offered by Brandes Jon DVM, as implied by the reviews, include general veterinary care, check-ups, and end-of-life care. While the reviews don't detail a comprehensive list of services, the experiences shared suggest a practice that handles routine care as well as more sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy. Dr. Brandes has taken care of our cats for over 13 yrs. We had a stray that was cranky when he went to the vet. Dr. Brandes always welcomed him and was there when we had to put him down just before his 17th birthday. Now he takes great care of our twin 3 yr old orange tabbies.
