Nicole helped my elderly rescue horse get through and recover from a bowed tendon and simultaneous hoof abcess a couple years ago. And the stomach ulcers he developed while on stall rest. This year she helped me say good bye and do what was best for him. She has always been kind caring and thoughtful and made hard decisions a little more bearable. And she has always been able to work with my hectic schedule for both emergencies and routine care as well as always being prompt. Im sad that im moving too far away to keep her as my vet when I get another horse.

My horse colicked while we were attending a clinic in Maine, approximately 40 minute ride from this vet's place of business. Nicole did not know me from a hole in the wall but came out at 9:30 on a Sunday night, on a holiday weekend no less, to care for my horse. Thanks to her timely and effective treatment of his colic he made a full recovery. I will be forever grateful for her compassion and kindness. Even after she was finished, she hung around longer than she probably needed to just to make sure he was doing okay. I was just overwhelmed by her concern for his well being. If you live anywhere near this vet, use her! Wish I lived close enough to her.

Dr. Mailhot was so caring and kind when we were in dire need of her veterinary services. It was just two days before Christmas, and she still made time to fit us in when it was needed. Her thoughtfulness and generosity during a very difficult time did not go unnoticed and we are so very appreciative of her!!

Here at CSS we've been using Branch Equine since we opened back in 2016! Nicole is always so great to work with and has been here at the drop of a hat when needed during emergency moments! It's always a pleasure working with her. Highly recommend Branch Equine 100%.

Nicole could not be more professional or compassionate. I am thrilled to find a doctor for my animal companions as good as she is which is unusual for me to say, as I've been in the industry for many years, and doctors like Nicole are few and far between. Thank you, Branch Equine. ps. Try not to deal with the hubby who answers the phone!
