I appreciate being able to make a same day appointment for my pup. The individual working at reception could not have been friendlier both in person and on the phone. She welcomed us with a smile and was patient with us when checking out. I observed this type of care as she greeted others. The vet and vet nurse were kind and answered all my questions. I understand that vet care is expensive and often reviews factor that in; however, I was happy to see the costs of recommendations before agreeing. It can be shocking to say the least. I did not feel pressured into running extra tests and was given time to make a decision.

Jan 05, 2025 · JulieHad a great experience at this location! Been taking my cat to various Bondvet locations and have been happy with his care, this was our first time at this location and we will definitely come back. He’s had heart and urinary issues, and the staff have always been incredibly kind and supportive to both of us during the process. Today we saw Dr MacIntyre and I think Claire was our tech, and they both took great care of my boy (he squirmed and we couldn’t check all our to do’s off the list, but they helped make a plan moving forward and we will be back soon). It’s very clear that the entire team cares a lot about what they do and the animals and people they help, and it is a huge comfort to know he’s in good hands. The receptionist was so wonderful and warm when I came in, and I was so grateful they had the room ready for us so he didn’t have to smell the dogs. In regards to the company as a whole, I’ve found the automated chat feature to be frustrating, but everyone I’ve spoken to has been helpful so I’d recommend just calling and speaking to someone if you have a question that can’t be answered through the FAQ. Their medication prices are much steeper than on Chewy, it makes sense why so I understand, but definitely run the numbers if you’re going to be purchasing meds regularly. When I was first prescribed meds, they did let me know it would be cheaper through Chewy so I appreciated that they were transparent! Overall I’d recommend!
Apr 03, 2025 · Sam HodgdonI took my French Bulldog, Franklin to Bond Vet on 91st and from the second I walked in they were BEYOND amazing. Clear up front pricing and they worked with me to get my dog to an ER and found pricing for that too (that was within my budget). I have heard horror stories about Vets in NYC and was scared to even take him somewhere. The care, kindness and compassion they showed us was better than any vet I’ve ever been to. They set up his IV port before we left. My poor dog had explosive bloody diarrhea and I was mortified that it was all over the exam room, and even that was handled with so much care. Reassuring me it was ok. At the end of our visit the doctor carried my boy to the car for me. So sweet! I would highly recommend this location. I am so grateful for the most positive experience you could have with a sick pet. Thanks Bond Vet!
Apr 09, 2025 · Grace BoundsI had an experience at Bond Vet on 91st that pet owners should be aware of. From the start, the staff and doctor were off-putting, not taking the time to explain things or really listen, which was already alarming. Then, after my dog’s exam, I waited 20 minutes with no explanation, only to finally be told—casually and as an afterthought—that she had been given an expired rabies vaccine. Instead of addressing it upfront, they omitted the truth and let me sit there while they scrambled to figure things out. This is a serious mistake. Why were expired vaccines even accessible? Why weren’t they checked beforehand? Why did I only find out after waiting and asking questions? This level of negligence and incompetence is unacceptable, and it raises real concerns about their overall attention to detail. The manager later called to apologize, but for the level of trauma this caused, they absolutely could have done more to make it right. Because of that, I will never go back. Be aware of not just how people treat your pet, but how they handle serious mistakes. Ask yourself: Is this the type of service you think is acceptable for your dog—or any dog? Seriously. This was a terrible and traumatic experience that I will never forget. If you bring your pet here, double-check everything but quite honestly I would not.
Feb 26, 2025 · Sivona BlakeI had to unfortunately euthanize my 14 yr old Yorkie on New Year’s day. This clinic was amongst the few that were open. At first, I had scheduled the appointment for 5pm but ended up calling and asking to come in earlier since my dog was rapidly declining. They were able to fit me in and once i stepped foot in the door, they were immediately ready to preform CPR on my dog. I appreciate the lady at the front desk, the nurse and the doctor for working quickly and supporting my family through this difficult time. I was even able to pick out the urn and we filled out all paperwork needed prior to the euthanasia so we didn’t have to stick around after the appointment. We were also told we could stay for as long as we liked and could leave when we’re ready. This team was absolutely incredible and deserve nothing but the best !
