I highly recommend Bond Vet - LIC. The doctors and staff cared for my elder dog Pancake so well. This past week, I had to put Pancake down and the doctors and staff made a very difficult process for me a little easier. They truly cared and helped make the experience as good as it could be. The whole end of life process was clearly explained to me and every step of the way, they were there to help and support me as I said goodbye to my best friend. They even sent me a card a few days later with hand written notes to offer condolences. When I'm ready to bring another dog into my life, Bond Vet will be my will be my vet. I would give a 100 star rating if I could.

Oct 14, 2024 · Christian HofflingerIf I could give this vet 10 stars, I would. After moving boroughs I relocated vets and the one I was using in Astoria was *okay* but I often had to wait weeks, if not months for an appointment. Recently I was told my cat would need dental surgery and was pushed to get her blood work done. Then a week later I tried to schedule her procedure and they said they were booked out for 2-3 months, wouldn't open the calendar for later, and were not able to perform the dental consult and procedure in the 3-4 weeks before I leave for 3 months of work out of town. Frustrated since they had pushed me to get the blood work done which expired in 3o days, I reached out to 5 other branches of that vet and still no luck. Plus requirement for more blood work and requirement for a heart & lung x-ray for a 5y/o cat to undergo the dental anesthesia. CUT TO: Out of frustration I contacted a number of other vets and immediately Bond Vet was a cut above the rest. I was able to get a phone consult within 2 days, spoke to an incredibly kind intake woman (Dawn) who gave me expectations and quotes, and agreed that the x-ray was excessive. I had a an in person consult at the LIC office within one week, and the dental procedure was done the following week. This means that I could even monitor my cat's aftercare before leaving for work. Their LIC office is bright, clean, and gives the vibe of a cute WeWork. There's even a corner for cats to go so that dogs can be kept away from them in the waiting room. Treats all around, even for people. And when you have to pay for a big procedure, it does help to have a candy at the front desk. Regarding payment, I was quoted on the phone, during the consult, and then it ended up being less because my cat has less diseased teeth than originally expected. My first visit, the nurses let my cat in a room very early because she was crying and obviously very nervous. All the nurses have been super warm and friendly, and the front desk woman is helpful, kind, and it doesn't feel like she's rushing you out the door. Every person in this facility acts like you're a valued family member, and not a human credit card. During the procedure itself, I was texted all day with updates about how my cat was doing, and the outpatient instructions and follow up were seriously better than some of the care I've received as a human in a hospital. Emailed, and printed, and gone over verbally before we left. All the nurses and Dr. McGuire repeatedly ask if you have questions. They seem to genuinely love their job, and do what's best for their furry patients while keeping their human parent's informed and managing expectations for pricing and care. Without a doubt, my previous vet has lost a patient, and Bond has secured a customer for life. Even if I move again I will remain loyal this location after receiving such excellent care.
May 17, 2024 · Kelsey Lynn StokesI cannot say enough positive things about Bond Vet, LIC. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and highly professional. The facility itself is clean, modern, and designed with both pets and their owners in mind. I love the pets snack bar! The veterinarians and techs were incredibly thorough and compassionate during the visit. They took the time to listen to all my concerns, explained everything clearly, and provided options during the visit. I never felt rushed or pressured, which made our first time experience less stressful. My dog, can be nervous around new people, was treated with so much patience and kindness. It clearly shows that the staff truly cares about the pets they see. Bond Vet also followed up promptly to check on how my dog was doing after the appointment, which was a nice touch. Overall, Bond Vet, LIC sets the standard for what a vet clinic should be. I'm grateful to have them in the Long Island City community and highly recommend their services to any pet owners looking for exceptional care.
Jan 09, 2025 · Joanna HongVery helpful front desk. It was very easy to get an appointment the same day, upload medical history on the portal and get it all done. Doctor was very kind and attentive, we had a great first experience. Their online portal is great for getting vaccine records and all kinds of documents.
Feb 13, 2025 · HalukDr. Quesada was amazing! She helped me to better understand my kitty's congenital disorder and outlined a clear path for us moving forward. I appreciate how she took the time to thoroughly explain the physiology and relevant lab values, as well as provide in depth information on dietary changes. I struggled to get these answers from previous veterinary providers, so needless to say, I am very thankful to have found Bond Vet and Dr. Quesada. In addition, the office was gorgeous and clean. We will be back!
