Had a great experience at Bond Vet today. I took my male cat in today to get him checked for urinary crystals, after he urinated outside the box and was acting weird. His usual vet could not get him in until Friday and having had a male cat that experienced the whole urinary crystals thing before, I could not wait that long. Bond Vet was easy to schedule an appt online and I got right in. The office was conveniently located and had parking. Inside, the reception area was really nice. It was clean, comfortable and inviting. The reception staff were super nice and I didn't wait long to be taken back to a room. The vet & vet tech were both super sweet and patient, with my usually aggressive cat. They explained everything thoroughly and I really felt confident with the course of action. This was a very nice and positive experience and I may just change over care permanently!

I cannot express enough how amazing this entire staff is, especially as a cat mom. I have found it very difficult to find a vet that truly cares for cats, until now. I brought my sweet cat Fred here because he was showing symptoms of discomfort. Every member of the staff was friendly, showed care and concern. We unfortunately received bad news, that Fred's condition was untreatable and he would have to leave us. Every step of informing me was handled with true care, empathy, and compassion. The way they treated us was as family, but still professional and informative. On the day that we had to lay Fred to rest, every member of the staff was so gentle, kind, and compassionate with my family. They gave us the space we needed, but the comfort as well. They truly made the worst experience a pet parent could ever go through as comfortable as possible. Even picking up his ashes was an experience better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone told me to expect an envelope and non-emotion. I received a beautiful bag, a hand written note, and full compassion. I will be returning to Bond Vet with all future pets.

I want to write and express my rating is specific to one veterinarian. But that one vet is the reason we will never be returning to Bond. First, the good. Our usual vet, Maria, has always been fantastic. Caring. Empathetic. Truly made us happy to choose this place for care for our corgi. If I was writing a review for just her, it would be 5 stars. Unfortunately, our experience with travel vet Emma was so disastrous that I had to write this interview. TLDR: Emma missed a kennel cough diagnosis that was described as "incredibly obvious" by another vet we took to after my dog's condition worsened. Our corgi was feeling very cathartic, refusing to eat, coughing, and wheezing. We immediately got him into the first vet appointment we could get the next morning at Bond. Maria was not available but it didn't matter - we knew he needed care. When in during the appointment, Emma was checking him out and when pressing into his stomach he reacted. We let her know that he actually just hates anyone touching his stomach and tolerates us - but she wouldn't move on from it. We even demonstrated that he would let us press on his stomach - mind you he was still wheezing and coughing. She ordered blood work and xrays, and nearly $1000 later she sent him home with stomach meds and special food. She also told us "I am just a travel vet so I have no idea what the hours are here tomorrow but if he isn't better bring him back." The vet DIDN'T KNOW THE HOURS OF THE PLACE THEY WERE WORKING. Again, we were there because he was coughing and wheezing. Let me again say, hearing your dog wheeze to breathe is like absolutely heart wrenching. I stayed up with him all night knowing first thing we were going somewhere else. We called Bond back and they were able to prescribe us anti-biotics but we were so worried we went to another vet where they took our concerns so serious. They met us outside, removed anything in the room that would potentially make spreading it easier - and this was just the idea we thought he might have it. When they met him, it was "textbook kennel cough." He was medicated and recovered, but he spent a couple days sick because of Bond's travel vet. If you have an established vet with Bond, I think they're great. But their travel vet, in my experience, cares only about transactional profit. She was dismissive, rude, and MISSED a major sickness. We have since moved all care from Bond.

I’ve lived here four years and have been taking my dog to her vet in my hometown every year for her checkups. I was ready to finally find a new vet near us. The first time we went in was because she had an abscess under her eye. After talking w the nurse extensively they took her back and it was pretty quick. 20min tops, and the doctor came in and told me she had an infected tooth that was causing the abscess. Honestly her doctor was great - she gave a ton of details and answered all of my questions. However she told me she’d have to get it pulled and it would cost me $4,200. They prescribed an antibiotic and a painkiller to get rid of the infection and we left. Where this visit took a turn for me was the next day when I called them concerned because the abscess had now popped and her face would not stop bleeding. They told me I could bring her back in but it would be a “revisit fee” which was only $10 less than her original exam fee which seemed weird to me. But they also said they close in an hour so apply cold water to her face. It felt like extreme lack of care as I was panicking on the phone with them. I sat her in the bathtub for 90min until her face stopped bleeding and continued to rinse w water. The next day I sent her quote and summary to her vet back home and he called me and told me the cost seemed a little extreme and he’d be more than happy to do the surgery for $1200.. 3 weeks later, I wanted to get her anal glands expressed and nails trimmed before our flight home. I was also hoping to get one more round of the antibiotics. I expressed to the nurse I just wanted anal glands expressed, nails trimmed and a refill on her medication. No exam fees or anything else. She understood. They take my dog back and bring her back in and say the glands were expressed but she wasn’t too “spicy” to trim her nails. They provided me a refill on her medication and I went up front to pay. I know she’s stressed at the vet so she takes a trazodone prior and I wasn’t bothered by them not being able to do her nails. I go to pay and they tell me $185 for her service. I was super confused and she listed off an exam fee, glands, and medication refill. I said she didn’t have an exam. She goes back and comes back up and says “oh my mistake, I took the exam fee off it’ll be $140” Again I’m blown away. She had a refill and her glands expressed. I’ve never paid more than $25 for an expression. They tell me it was a nurse fee not a doctor fee, the expression and the refill. I asked why I’m paying $47 for the expression and then $55 for a nurse fee when all the nurse did was the expression? I asked to speak to a manager and the manager confirmed the front desk girl and kept saying my dog was really “spicy” and it took longer than normal. I said this feels wrong I shouldn’t be charged $100 when it took less than 10min. She continued to call my dog very spicy and said if my dog was easier it’s have been just the expression. I told her what I told the nurse - if there was any type of exam fee I didn’t want the service today. She went to the back and confirmed they never confirmed a final price with me prior to what they did and that was their mistake. She waived the expression fee of $47 instead of the nurse fee. I also pointed out they charged me more for the same prescription when I received 6 less pills and she told me oh well there is a $25 dispensing fee. It was annoying but not my biggest issue. I noticed when I got Home they lowered the prescription price and didn’t say anything, they were just gonna overcharge me until I pointed it out. I firmly believe this clinic is HUGE on price gouging. I left paying $105 for an expression and a medication refill. The price gouging and genuine lack of care was enough for me.

The staff was nice, Very sweet, Stormy love them. She enjoyed the visit and snacks, attention from the doctors. It was just a warm, and pleasant experience. I love that for my daughter stormy. We have an appointment in 3 weeks and I can’t wait to attend.
