I want to start by acknowledging that I’m not the easiest customer... I tend to experience a lot of anxiety when it comes to making the right decisions for our pups. With that said, I’d like to share our experience at Bond Vet Hoboken. From the very beginning, we’ve had nothing but positive and exceptional interactions with the team. When our 13-year-old Corgi became very ill and had to be put to sleep, the compassion and support from the staff at Bond made an incredibly difficult time a bit easier. We knew when we were ready to adopt again that we would return to Bond Vet. Sure enough, we adopted two puppies last year, and most recently, we had them neutered by Dr. Kerry McLaughlin. Dr. McLaughlin was wonderful — she took the time to answer all of our questions and was incredibly thorough in her care. We knew what was happening every step of the way and she called me personally to provide updates. I can honestly say that EVERYONE at Bond Vet Hoboken is amazing. From Debbie at the Surgery Consultation Center to the vet techs who guided us through the process, to our regular vet, Dr. Erin Harker, we’ve felt nothing but confidence in their ability to care for our sweet pups. Thank you to the entire team for your patience, understanding, and for reassuring me through my worries. We are so grateful to have you all taking care of Moose and Newton!

Bond Vet - Hoboken Introduce

Bond Vet - Hoboken, located at 1425 Washington St, Hoboken, NJ 07030, USA, represents a modern and highly regarded approach to veterinary care. Functioning as a comprehensive pet hospital, Bond Vet has established itself as a go-to destination for pet parents seeking both routine and urgent medical attention for their beloved animal companions. They are part of a growing network of clinics that aim to redefine the veterinary experience by combining cutting-edge medicine with a focus on empathy, transparency, and convenience.

The environment at Bond Vet - Hoboken is meticulously designed to be a significant departure from traditional, often intimidating, veterinary clinics. Rather than the cold, sterile feel sometimes associated with medical facilities, Bond Vet clinics are known for their **warm, inviting, and minimalist aesthetic**. Reviews frequently highlight the comfortable and stress-free atmosphere, making visits more pleasant for both pets and their owners. Features such as "warm tones, comfortable furniture, soothing lighting, and entertainment — toys for pets, books for people" are deliberately integrated to create a calming space. There's even a "cute cat corner with blankets and treats and a cat tree" for feline visitors, demonstrating their attention to species-specific comfort. This thoughtful design helps to alleviate anxiety in animals, making them more at ease during their appointments, even for procedures like vaccinations. The cleanliness and modern feel of the facility are consistently praised, contributing to an overall sense of professionalism and care from the moment clients walk through the door. This emphasis on a positive physical environment complements the compassionate approach of the staff.

Bond Vet - Hoboken offers a robust suite of veterinary services, encompassing both **primary and urgent care**, a key differentiator for the clinic. This means they are equipped to handle everything from routine wellness visits to those unexpected "uh-oh moments" when a pet seems unwell but doesn't necessarily require a full emergency room visit. Their primary care services include thorough **routine checkups**, **tailored vaccination protocols** to protect against common diseases, and **preventative health screenings**. They also provide essential **dental care**, including cleanings, and a range of **surgical procedures** such as spaying and neutering, as well as soft tissue surgeries. For urgent care needs, they can address issues like gastrointestinal upset, wounds, rashes, and other acute symptoms. The clinic is well-equipped with **on-site diagnostic tools**, including in-house labs for blood, urine, and fecal tests, and digital X-ray capabilities, allowing for quick and accurate diagnoses. Beyond these, they offer **microchipping**, **nutritional counseling**, **dermatology services**, and compassionate **end-of-life care**. For added convenience, Bond Vet also provides **telehealth visits**, allowing pet parents to consult with a veterinarian from the comfort of their home, and they maintain an **on-site pharmacy** for immediate medication needs.

Several features make Bond Vet - Hoboken stand out in the competitive pet hospital landscape. One of the most significant is their **dual focus on primary and urgent care**, providing a single, reliable point of contact for a wide range of pet health needs. This negates the need for pet owners to juggle multiple veterinary providers for different types of appointments. Their commitment to **transparent communication and detailed explanations** is frequently highlighted in client testimonials. Customers consistently praise how the staff, including specific veterinarians like Dr. Kerry McLaughlin and Dr. Erin Harker, take the time to answer all questions, provide thorough care, and keep owners informed "every step of the way." This level of engagement is particularly reassuring for anxious pet parents, as one review explicitly states, "I can honestly say that EVERYONE at Bond Vet Hoboken is amazing. From Debbie at the Surgery Consultation Center to the vet techs who guided us through the process, to our regular vet, Dr. Erin Harker, we’ve felt nothing but confidence in their ability to care for our sweet pups." The clinic also prides itself on **efficient service**, with clients noting how "relatively quick everything was" without compromising on detailed care. The genuine **compassion and kindness** of the entire team, from the front desk to the veterinarians, is a recurring theme, with staff members making pets feel comfortable (e.g., giving treats) and supporting owners through difficult times, such as end-of-life care. The ability to secure **same-day or walk-in appointments** is another invaluable feature, particularly for urgent concerns, providing flexibility for busy pet parents.

While specific, time-sensitive promotional offers for Bond Vet - Hoboken can vary, the clinic consistently promotes its **referral program**. This program allows existing clients to send a $50 credit to their friends with pets, and in return, the referring client also receives a $50 credit when their friend completes their first visit. This fosters a sense of community and rewards loyal clients for spreading the word about their positive experiences. Bond Vet also occasionally runs seasonal or new client promotions, which may include discounts on specific services like wellness exams, preventative medications, or diagnostic tests. For instance, past promotions have included free fecal and/or heartworm tests and a complimentary dose of preventative medication during specific "Wellness Days" or "New Client Promotions." They also emphasize **transparent pricing**, ensuring that "vets will review costs with you before proceeding" with any procedures, alleviating concerns about unexpected bills. For the most up-to-date promotional information and to discuss how to best utilize their services for your pet, it is highly recommended to contact Bond Vet - Hoboken directly at (551) 751-9195 or +1 551-751-9195. Their team can provide details on any current offers, explain their service packages, and help you schedule an appointment that fits your schedule and your pet's needs.

I brought my cat to the clinic today and was seen by Dr. Nagle. I just wanted to say how truly impressed and grateful I am for the care we received. Dr. Nagle was incredibly friendly, kind, and patient throughout the whole visit. She was very thorough in explaining everything my cat needed, and I could tell she genuinely cared about his well-being. She even gave him some treats, which made him feel more at ease. To top it off, she gave us a discount at checkout — something I really appreciated. It’s rare to find a vet who’s both so professional and so warm. Thank you, Dr. Nagle, for going above and beyond!

10/10 experience!! My 2 cats have never been treated better by a doctor and staff - Bond was extremely welcoming and made myself and my cats feel comfortable. Clinic was clean and did not smell like dander at all which is very impressive. The doctor and vet tech were professional and took the time to specifically go through pricing and what the treatment plan/recommendations were. The front desk staff was overly patient with a woman who was being verbally aggressive and causing a scene about routine fees for exam/procedures. If you want the best care for your fur babies then this is the place!!

My boyfriend and I adopted a rescue pup (Nova) in September and immediately established Bond as our regular vet. Last week, the rescue center did Nova’s spay for free. When I picked her up, she was shaking and cried for the entire rest of the day (which I know can be normal, but is important for later in this review when I compare her behaviors following the rescue center vs Bond Vet). The day after her spay (Friday the 20th), I noticed the surgery site looked herniated. I contacted the rescue vet but he said he didn’t think it was an emergency and that he wasn’t able to see Nova until Monday (today the 23rd). When he saw her today, he told us that it was in fact a hernia, however that he couldn’t fix it until Thursday as he didn’t have anyone available to help him. He gave us sedatives and said we needed to keep Nova sleepy until Thursday or else her outer glued suture would break open and she would likely die. My boyfriend and I didn’t feel comfortable with this situation — waiting another 3 days, continually drugging Nova, the risk of her surgery site opening. I want to say that the employees at the rescue center were kind and giving us the resources that they were able to — but we immediately went to Bond Vet for a second opinion. They had an appointment available almost immediately which was amazing. The vet techs / vet explained to us the risk of waiting another few days, such as her intestines being blocked and potentially dying. We opted to do the surgery with them today. They were thorough, emotionally supportive during a really difficult time for a young couple like us where Nova is our first pet, and I think they even moved appointments around to fit Nova in. They called us right after the surgery and explained that her bladder had slipped through the hernia and was bruised, so we are very very thankful that we didn’t wait any longer to get this procedure. When we picked Nova up, she looked like she was having the best time ever! Like she hadn’t even had a surgery. The employees at Bond Vet even gave her a cute bandana and a certificate of bravery. Any vet is expensive, but we would pay anything for our baby to have the excellent care she received today. My only regret is not bringing Nova to Bond sooner. We are so grateful for this group. Special thank you to Dr. Kwon, Dr. Nagle, Lexis, Gabby, and Arissa! Nova loves you ❤️

Wonderful first time experience here, super easy to make an appointment online lots of availability, found an online coupon code for $50 plus there was a spring special going on, 0 wait time when I got there, Dr. Quan was amazing my dog was surprisingly calm the whole time & let the team handle him. Dr. Quan took her time, thoroughly explained everything, excellent bedside manner from everyone & transparent with our treatment plan, when there was hesitation upon agreeing to the original quote, she explained something could be taken off that wasn’t absolutely necessary to help the financial burden. Definitely recommend !
