After taking our puppy in for a wellness check because our pup started having very loose stools & was becoming lethargic. We tried to get Dr John ( Our family vet for decades) Our only choice was Dr. Crispin. I was Leary because she has so many questionable reviews. The Vet Tech had a Sales Pitch for EVERYTHING under the sun. When the Dr came in their was a difficult conversation from her. Basically a few suggestions. Suggested a certain dog food (Never got it) So much Sales Pitch going on the dog food was forgotten. Diagnosis ??Couldn't tell you...Just basic puppy diareah I guess. So for a High Pitched Sales Speech ( The tech was very polite & I think a lot more talkative to the point I wanted to tell her to please be quiet. My husband explained we had dogs before. Dr Crispin suggested an injection of Saline for dehydration & when they brought the pup out the saline was free flowing out of the pup. So I felt that was a waste of time & money. Very Expensive to get an answer for our pup.I would Not recommend this Vet. I know Dr Bohn is swamped. So we chose to fine a Vet closer to home & one that has better reviews.

Bohn G a DVM Introduce

As a local pet care provider in the "Pet Hospital" category, Bohn G a DVM aims to offer a range of services and potentially goods to cater to the health and well-being of your animal companions. Based on available information, including customer reviews, it's important for local users to have a comprehensive understanding of the experiences of other pet owners. Some reviews highlight concerns regarding the services received, particularly under the care of a veterinarian other than Dr. Bohn. One review details an experience where a puppy with loose stools and lethargy was seen by Dr. Crispin. The reviewer mentions a strong emphasis on sales pitches from the veterinary technician for various products. The conversation with Dr. Crispin was described as difficult, with only basic suggestions provided. The reviewer also noted a recommendation for a specific dog food that was ultimately forgotten amidst the sales pressure. The diagnosis was unclear, seemingly attributed to basic puppy diarrhea, but the cost of the visit was perceived as high for the outcome. An injection of saline for dehydration was administered, but the reviewer felt it was ineffective and a waste of money. Consequently, this customer stated they would not recommend this particular veterinary care, especially when Dr. Bohn was unavailable, and opted to find a vet closer to home with better reviews.
Another concerning review expresses deep grief over the loss of a pet, suggesting that the care received at what is implied to be the same facility (referred to as KMV in the review, which might be the operating name or a larger group Bohn G a DVM is part of) was inadequate. This reviewer mentions missed lab abnormalities, an incorrect surgery, and a perceived lack of care from the staff as contributing factors to their pet's premature death. While they personally liked Dr. Bohn, their overall experience led them to believe that better care could have prevented their loss. This heartfelt review serves as a strong caution to other pet owners seeking veterinary services.
It is crucial for prospective clients to consider these reviews alongside any positive feedback or direct experiences they might have or gather. When choosing a pet hospital, factors such as the environment, the range and quality of services offered, the expertise and communication style of the veterinarians and staff, and the overall customer experience are paramount.
While specific details about the environment of Bohn G a DVM are not provided in the given information, typically, a pet hospital aims to create a clean and comfortable space for animals and their owners. This includes examination rooms, waiting areas, and potentially surgical suites and recovery areas. The cleanliness and organization of the facility can significantly impact a pet owner's perception and comfort level.
Regarding services, a comprehensive pet hospital like Bohn G a DVM would generally offer a range of veterinary care, which may include:

The "Sales Pitch" mentioned in one review could potentially relate to the sale of pet food, supplements, or other related products offered by the clinic. While offering such products can be a convenience for pet owners, it's important for the focus to remain on the medical needs and well-being of the animal.
Based on the limited information and the critical reviews, it is challenging to objectively highlight specific positive features of Bohn G a DVM. The reviews raise concerns about the thoroughness of diagnoses, the quality of care provided by at least one associate veterinarian, the emphasis on sales, and the overall value for money. Potential local users should weigh these points carefully.
As for promotional information, none is provided in the given text. Typically, a pet hospital might promote services such as seasonal specials on vaccinations, dental health months, or discounts on specific procedures. Without such information, we cannot comment on any ongoing promotions at Bohn G a DVM.
In conclusion, Bohn G a DVM is listed as a Pet Hospital in Plymouth, WI, with contact information provided. However, the available customer reviews present significant concerns regarding the quality of care, particularly when Dr. Bohn is not the attending veterinarian, as well as issues related to sales practices and perceived value. Local users are strongly advised to consider these reviews and potentially seek additional information or testimonials before entrusting the health of their pets to this facility. It would be prudent to inquire about the qualifications and experience of all veterinarians on staff and to clearly communicate their expectations and concerns regarding their pet's care. Visiting the clinic to assess the environment and speaking directly with the staff might also provide valuable insights.

Jun 03, 2020 · James JinglehimerI wish I had paid more attention to the other reviews & I am not one to write reviews but I am today because I want others to know. We have lost our dear companion too soon. I hate to say it because we liked Dr Bohn personally but we feel we would not be experiencing such grief had our dog had better care. Missed lab abnormalities, the wrong surgery performed & a staff that just don’t seem to care are just a few of our experiences with KMV that we feel led to a life cut short. It is a shame and we are heartbroken. I hope & pray this helps someone else’s pet. They deserve better.
Apr 29, 2019 · Penny “4plnts” NovitovicI have to say that Dr Bohn is the best!! He feels empathy and that alone is consoling. His assists is also rated very high. It was a trying day waiting for the ultrasound results. And my dog is old but is the one who likes her too!!!
Nov 06, 2019 · Kathie HoffmannVery disappointed in how they care for their clients. Found out my dog was positive for heartworm and was told by Dr. Crispin on the plan she laid out for us which was going to cost over 1,000$ for treatment. Which "wasn't that much" per herself?! Who says that? I'm not on vet salary... Went to another vet for a second opinion, he gave me a more thorough explanation of what was going on, especially considering we have given our dog heartgaurd meds. Two months were missed of this med because this facility REFUSED to send the script to another vet closer to my home. (we were incredibly busy during that time it would save me time and money to go to a closer vet I heard positive reviews on) The second Dr also informed me to call the company who makes heartgaurd or the facility we obtained our rescue dog from for financial assistance . He was so kind and understanding that this was quite an expense for us at this time. Dr Crispin then later calls me to say she "didn't think of telling me that"? Especially because there wasn't concurrent use of the meds.. Nice excuse. This is why I didn't want her contacting me a second time. She's asking how she "can help" after I already got all the info I needed from another doctor. They focus on the money and not on the person or pet...its sad.
Dec 10, 2018 · Emily SWe have gone to kettle moraine for many years with our cats and dogs. We have seen most of the vets there and would recommend dr. Bohn for his professionalism, extensive up to date knowledge and his great listening and caring for pets and their persons. It is only because of him that we continue to go and recommend kettle moraine. But I want to make clear that Dr. Rhonda Maas should not be practicing. We brought in our our 1.5 chiweenie mix, finnigan, with severe bleeding/diarrhea and she diagnosed him and sent him home on a bland diet and some meds. When the bleeding got worse we called and said we were very concerned and thought we should bring him in. Her exact words were, “I am not very concerned but you can bring him in.” We rushed him in and she took X-rays but there was nothing. We ultimately decided to rush him to lakeshore in port Washington. Dr Mass said she would call over to them to let them know we were heading over. At lakeshore, they examined/lab work finnigan and diagnosed him with hemorrhagic gastroenteritis and immediately admitted him and gave him multiple fluids and antibiotics through IV. He stayed overnight into the next day and came home better and with meds. We almost lost him and are glad we listened to our gut and not to Dr Maas. When we spoke to kettle moraine after about what all occurred, we were met with defensiveness and a bill for the X-rays. No apologizes or accountability.
