Blythewood Animal Hospital

I just want to thank Dr. Roof for her Professionalism and compassion in caring for my Sadie. The staff at Blythewood Animal Hospital is also fantastic. Ive had them care for my precious pups for nearly 15 years, from puppydom to end of life. I highly recommend them.

I have been going to BAH since around 98. I did think they were a good place for many years despite the fact I was told Dr Roof, for whatever reason had a problem with me. I left for a period of time because of her nasty attitude towards me. Long story short, I went back because I always did like the place. So I got stuck with Dr Roof again but decided to go with the flow and I thought things were good. My 17 year old cat who was in good health with the exception of a thyroid problem and was on medication for it. She needed to be tested for a follow up on it and Dr Roof suggested I do the Wellness test ( $250) and everything came out good except for a urinary infection. So for another $25.00 she gave her a shot for it. My cat started peeing blood when I called hospital they said she would call me back. Never did. By Sunday night she then started to act a little different so I brought her in at 8 am next morning and explained everything to the guy behind the desk and that she wasn't doing good. I had to go to my job so I had to leave her. I got a call from Roof at 10 minutes to 2 pm and she said they just took the cat out and she died right then. My cat sat back there about 4 to 5 hours with no medical attention. A few days later I left a message to Dr Branson to please call me. She never did. Imo Dr Roof is an arrogant narcissist stuck up person and I have to live with the guilt of ever bringing my cat and trusting Roof to take care of her. I will never recommend this place to anyone.

I can only say that I could not be more pleased with Blythewood Animal Hospital!! The concern and compassion they show for my pets is incredible. They care for them as though they were their pets. The staff is genuinely interested in your pet and they are service oriented and truly go the extra mile to insure your satisfaction!

Good prices and great place to board your dog. I even adopted my dog from here. I live an hour away now and will continue to take her here. they really care about animals !

Very clean and professional...the Dr took time to explain how she was going to treat my baby and she was very gentle and caring...I was impressed! My boy had an acupuncture treatment and it all went well...he was a good patient!
