I'm editing & adding important thanks to the review I posted yesterday: a shout-out to Dr. Sydney Dudley DVM for her kind expertise and for listening so patiently to my concerns. Also Laura, Vet Tech and the rest of the staff were very caring! My beloved cat was suddenly very ill, needing care when my vet's office was closed for the weekend Although it was a 45-minute drive for me, Crystal, the receptionist, let me know the expected wait time and up-front cost for the emergency exam. It was well worth the drive and wait time. Not inexpensive, but worth every dollar and comparable in price to other pet hospitals. My Squeaky is feeling well again less than two days after she was examined and treated. Prescribed med they gave me has been effective. Highly recommend! - DM

My cat, KitKat, was referred to Dr. Caitlin Barry-Heffernan for endoscopy. The procedure required an overnight stay. Initially not wanting to put KitKat through the stressful experience, I was so relieved after meeting Dr. Barry-Heffernan and her staff; I knew right from the start that KitKat would be in good hands. Denise did a wonderful job going through the pre-procedure checklist and guiding me all the way to drop-off day. As Kit's anesthetist, she was well organized and super professional right to the end in sending me all the necessary paperwork needed to make an insurance claim. She couldn't have done a better job! Christa, the tech/assistant was super sweet. So knowledgeable, patient, and kind, she was a perfectly balanced match for my anxious cat. And I have to admit, I left feeling way better knowing Christa was part of the team. Thank you Christa for the updates throughout and all the great pictures of KitKat too as she went through her experience! Last but not least, my primary vet was right... Dr. Barry-Heffernan is the best specialist!! I am absolutely ecstatic to have been referred to her. She was well prepared from the start, and I felt like she knew KitKat forever! Her plan of care was thorough, the procedure was flawless, and I am really looking forward to working with her in getting KitKat back to good health!! Thank you a ton to you three ladies! You all went way above and beyond!!

My cat Calliope was diagnosed with a carcinoma in her nasal pharyngeal area. I was referred to Dr. Magestro at Blue Pearl in Southfield by OVRS for radiation treatment. She is absolutely wonderful! She took the time to answer ALL of my questions. Dr. Magestro is extremely kind, and very knowledgeable. She had her staff keep me updated daily while Calliope was having treatment. Her demeanor helped reduce my anxiety, and her intelligence on the matter has given me hope for some more precious time with my Calliope. I would also like to thank a wonderful lady named Taylor. She called me the moment there was a cancellation, and I was able to get Calliope treatment very quickly. Many thanks and much appreciation to you both!! I will always be grateful for your kindness and compassion.

The best pet hospital in South East Michigan. I fortunately have only had to come here a couple of times. let's be honest having to take your pet to the emergency vet is not a great experience, but the receptionists, vet techs and veterinarians are all very kind and made the experience the best it can be. I found the quality of care outstanding and they treated both myself and my pet with dignity and respect. There are closer emergency vets to where I live, however, I would rather drive a further distance because I trust their care above the rest.

The nurses and doctors at Blue Pearl took care of my baby big King Georgie very well. They were very kind and compassionate, and made every testing and treatment option very clear, making it my choice. They also were transparent with the pricing and didn't push me toward anything. It is quite expensive due to being an emergency vet, but the friendly and honest treatment you get there, as well as how gentle they are with your pet is worth it. Thank you to Heaven and Martin for being so lovely to my baby. Also the first nurse who did his check in exam, I don't have your name but you were wonderful too!
