We can’t thank the staff at BluePearl enough for their kindness, patience, communication, and care they gave to us and our sweet girl. Our pittie is at home, healthy, and safe because of the care she received at BluePearl (Auburn Hills). Every time I called for an update, the staff was wonderful and kind when answering questions/providing updates on our girl. Everyone knows that going to the vet is expensive but the staff was very up front about the costs which was very appreciated! THANK YOU!

Millie has been sick for over a week now. We took her to her primary vet on Monday and her blood work and X-rays came back normal. So glad I took her to BluePearl emergency vet hospital in Auburn Hills tonight. She rapidly declined throughout the night and I got a call around 8:40pm from the vet letting me know she had a brain hemorrhage and it didn't look good. In just 3 minutes she laid on her side, extended her neck at a bad angle, had orange fluid coming out of her nose, and turned blue. They acted quickly and gave her a medication to reduce swelling in her brain and got her on oxygen. Her vitals have been stable since. She had to get a round of steriods as well as more meds to reduce the pressure in her brain again. Based on her symptoms and blood work they strongly suspect she has dry neurological feline infectious peritonitis (FIP). She had a 50/50 chance of making it through the night. The staff was amazing and laid a fluffy blanket on the ground for me and didn't mind me spending 2 hours, in the back with them, visiting with her. Thankfully the vet said that although FIP used to be a death sentence, in the last 5 years they have found a treatment that is ~97% effective. If she makes it through the night, they are going to have me bring her to a neurologist in the morning to confirm the diagnosis and start treatment. It has been such a stressful night 😞 Really hoping our brave girl can make it through the night so we can get her started on treatment. So incredibly thankful for all the kind, amazing staff at BluePearl Pet Hospital in Auburn Hills for their expertise, kindness, and fighting to keep our girly alive 💙 *Morning Update: Just got a call from BlurPearl. The vet said Millie is doing much better than last night. She is standing and trying to get out of the cage- signs she's getting back to being our silly girly. BluePearl in Auburn Hills got us an appt for a neuro consult at 11 am with BluePearl Farmington Hills. First picture is our girly on the mend, looking SO much better just 4 days after getting home from her ER stay. The rest are her at the ER. Everyone at BluePearl was so incredibly helpful, kind and knowledgeable throughout this whole scary process. Our girl Millie is only here with us today because of the amazing staff at BluePearl. We can't thank you all enough 💙

My husband had called to see if we could bring our fur baby into the clinic because she had an incident and needed stitches; the front desk had made it seem like she’d be seen right away. Around 8:30pm the check-in process was fast so it seemed promising. They took her vitals, put a cone on her and within a few minutes brought us right back to a room. Everything was great at the start BUT then we ended up waiting over 4 hours just to be seen by the doctor. After 12:30am when the doctor came in she gave us the plan and then said the assistant would come in to give us the estimate. It felt cold-hearted and weirdly about the money rather than my fur baby. None of the assistants could give us a timeline of how much longer when we’d ask. Because my fur babies vitals were good we were low priority, this was very frustrating. The communication was minimal and they just kept saying we don’t know. We felt unimportant. So we asked if we could go home to get some sleep and come back to get her as they didn’t know how much longer and they allowed us to do so but to be back before 7:30am so we weren’t charged for “overnight” costs. We get the call at 2:30am that she was done. If they could’ve told us that we would’ve stayed!!! I get there at 6:30am to pick up my fur baby and waited almost another hour. I was tired and frustrated at this point. In the end, I wouldn’t want to do their job as it’s stressful. I appreciate that they took care of my baby and she was in good hands that’s why they still got 3 stars because I am grateful they were there. I’m not sure if this is how all emergency vet hospitals are so I can’t compare but I’d question going back to this location and force them to tell you how behind they are.

I brought my English Pointer to Blue Pearl in February of 2024 for Allergy examinations. They put him on weekly shots and he did very well , Then on February 7th of 2025 my local Vet at Alcona Veterinary discovered tumors, Blue Pearl got us in right away on Monday February 10th 2025 and did a Cancer screening and confirmed what my local Vet found. Unfortunately he was in a very advanced stage and he is only 6 yrs 6 months old. We did a regular Vet checkup and Vaccinations in November of 2024 and he had been in great health this came on us very rapidly. Blue Pearl was very honest in their prognosis. Blue Pearl was very gracious to us and I highly recommend Blue Pearl

We brought our boy Tucker in for emergency symptoms of lethargy and a bloated tummy. He unfortunately had a splenic tumor that ruptered. The entire staff at BluePearl was incredibly compassionate throughout our visit, explaining the situation of what Tucker was experiencing and walked us through our options. We had to make the gut-wrenching decision to let our boy go and the Team at BluePearl made the process as comfortable as they possibly could. We are incredibly grateful we chose BluePearl and would absolutely recommend their services for pet emergency services.
