Want to give a big thanks to the staff at Blue Pearl, especially Dr. Abby Meltzer in internal medicine. We brought our 11 y/o boy Mischief to her after he was diagnosed with diabetes and continued to lose weight despite treatment. Dr. Meltzer is extremely kind, compassionate, and knowledgable. She has answered all our questions thoroughly (of which I always have many), responds promptly to emails, and is budget-conscious wherever possible. She follows up every visit with a detailed treatment plan, and shares all notes with our regular vet, so that his treatment is seamless between locations. Mischief is still in the middle of treatment for his issues (additional diagnosis of IBD), but he's already gaining weight and acting more like himself. Can't thank her and Blue Pearl enough!

Our experience at BluePearl Malvern - specifically with the medical oncology department, was nothing short of amazing. We were referred to the medical oncology team at Malvern for my cat Tyson after undergoing CyberKnife radiation to treat what was initially a localized nasal tumor. During his radiation treatment, a CT scan revealed subtle changes to his left kidney which was concerning for metastasis, for which chemotherapy was recommended. We were able to begin chemotherapy shortly thereafter with Dr. Risbon and her team. Throughout Tyson's treatment, Dr. Risbon was consistently realistic and upfront with Tyson's prognosis. She was extremely patient and took the time to answer all questions in depth. The receptionists as well as the vet techs and nurses were ALL outstanding as well. Although I wasn't able to catch everyone's name, Arianna stood out. She was consistently compassionate and friendly and provided a sense of comfort that I would have never expected, which made this difficult process so much easier for us and for Tyson. We are confident that Tyson was able to maintain a high and good quality of life for months longer than what was initially projected thanks to the amazing work these folks do. I cannot thank you all enough for the work you do for animals and pet owners alike. Tyson passed away peacefully on 12/15/24 due to progression of his disease. I was planning on notifying Dr. Risbon of this news once the dust settled after a few days, but she beat me to it and made the initiative to call me first. This was highly respectable and meant the world to a grieving cat mom. I know that without their care and medical expertise, our time together would've been far more limited. She and her team took wonderful care of Tyson.

My family and I cannot sing enough praises for the amazing and incredible work performed on our Rottweiler "Raina" by Dr. Scott Roberts. Dr. Roberts performed surgery on Raina's left ACL and a few months later did her Right ACL. Both surgeries were perfect and our Raina is back to full strength and running and living her best life. Dr. Roberts was FIVE STAR in the following: Kind, Friendly, Informative, Professional and Super Talented. It's also worth mentioning that Raina loved him as well and she can be a little opinionated when it comes to medical staff. At Blue Pearl Malvern she was best behavior and I credit that to Dr. Roberts and his amazing staff. Lastly all of the support staff and BPM was equally impressive. This is truly the only hospital we will ever bring our pets to for emergency care and treatment. Dr. Roberts has a big heart and he really respects the relationships people have with their pets. the facility is also super clean and the front of house staff also amazing. FIVE STARS ALWAYS FOR DR. ROBERTS AND BLUE PEARL MALVERN!!!!!!!!!!!

I could never thank blue pearl enough for everything they have done for our cat Allie. Every decision we made they stuck right beside us. They treated her with such kindness. I know the staff loved her just as much as we did. During Allies radiation Dr Decker and his staff went above and beyond he always explained everything with great details and was willing to talk if I had any question at whatever time. Even after Allies care if I needed anything for Allie he was there to help. His staff was always so happy to see Allie. I knew she was in good hands. A special thanks to Dr Bumgardner your compassion during Allies final moments with not only Allie but us will never be forgotten. And last but not least a special thanks to Dr Reagan, Dr Himeback, the nurses and front desk. We appreciate you all.

I can confidently say that BluePearl Pet Hospital saved my cat's life. The level of care, honesty, communication, and humility the doctors and staff showed me and my family is beyond anything I could have imagined or expected. We ended up taking our orange cat, Butch, to the emergency hospital on a Sunday morning (7/21/24), not knowing exactly how dire his situation was. The doctors and staff reassured us that we made the right call because he had a urinary blockage and ultimately could have not survived it much longer. We went through a rollercoaster of emotions: the first night he did well on the catheter, the next moment his body started rejecting the catheter, and he unfortunately ended up needing PU surgery since his urine was so crystalized and his genitals went through so much physical trauma. The 3.5 days Butch stayed overnight at BluePearl were long days for us, but they let us visit him with no day or time restrictions. It is always difficult to see your pet struggling and/or in pain, but we could tell right away he was being well taken care of when visiting. Butch had a comfy pillow and multiple choices of food. He was even rolling around his cage while hooked up to a catheter! His larger than life personality was still as present as it could be in those painful moments, and I credit that to the staff who made him feel as loved and comfortable as we would have in those moments. Dr. Maya Aharon played a crucial role in this; she walked us through every step along the way. She updated us as often as she could have whether the news was positive or negative. She was such a bright light in the darkest of situations - even when we had to have the conversation of potentially putting him to rest. Her demeanor was so genuinely kind and caring. She is an extremely knowledgeable professional with a huge heart. At the end of the day, when surgery was declared absolutely necessary, we discussed with her that it would regrettably be a huge financial strain on us (although we wanted to immediately jump on the opportunity). Dr. Aharon completely understood and comforted us while making no ill judgements. She gave us some time to discuss and think about next steps while selflessly taking on the task of doing some "homework" with us. While I was trying to figure out finances and other options elsewhere, Dr. Aharon called us back and gave us miraculous news: she secured surgery at an alternate site for Butch at an extremely affordable price. We were in complete shock because the news was nearly unbelievable. Dr. Aharon coordinated the transfer, information, status of Butch's state, etc. with the outside medical staff and allowed us to rest that night. We picked him up the next morning and transferred him to the other vet who performed the intricate surgery successfully. It's important to note that most vets and even other emergency hospitals do not perform this surgery, so the fact that we were able to find an alternate option was a miracle in itself. We took him home that same night and he is now a week into his healing process (one more week and he is cone free)! They are even still reaching out to us to check on the status of Butch and relay their well wishes. If my story does not clearly relay this, take your pets to BluePearl for any emergency needs. You can rest assured that the doctors, vet techs, and office staff will care for your pets like they would with theirs. We could not have asked for a better experience at an emergency pet hospital despite the frightening and critical circumstances. "Thank you" simply does not feel like enough. We are eternally grateful for everything they've done for Butch. Thank you to Dr. Aharon, Dr. Whitehead, and the amazing support/office staff who made this painful, exhausting situation one we can look back at with a peace of mind. They went above and beyond what a typical vet hospital would have done. We truly appreciate everything you've all done for our family. Butch sends you all his hugs, kisses, and big meows!
