My family has been taking our pets to Bluegrass since I was a small child. I have continued as an adult because of their excellent service and care for my dogs. When we moved across town, we did look at other vet practices for convenience, but we stayed with Bluegrass (and drive past 3 other vets to get there). We have been seeing Dr. Disney regularly for the last 8 years or so, and truly appreciate her care for her patients and her communication, but all of the vets are fantastic. The entire staff is wonderful. Whether we're there for a regular visit, or if I have a question or concern from home, they are supportive and understanding. From the front desk to the techs to the boarding and daycare - we don't trust anyone else with our dogs.

Dec 23, 2024 · Emily JacksonI will sing praises of this place forever! Truly just kind and happy people that work here. Our neighbor referred us and we are so thankful she did. Dr M was so fun and has a wealth of knowledge. I joked with her today, that its rare to meet people that are just kind and how thankful I am that we found them for our fur babies. We love bluegrass animal hospital and highly recommend them to anyone that wants good care for their pets!
Apr 15, 2025 · Ashley AkersOur German Shepherds both unfortunately passed away within the past month at the age of 12 years old. Dr Haddock, Thraser, Moser, and the whole Bluegrass team helped make their last few years of their life as enjoyable as possible. Last year Bluegrass swiftly removed masses on both dogs in 2024. When Rani’s DM developed in late 2024, Bluegrass was able to give her treatment so she could enjoy life further until the DM worsened and we had no choice to put her down. Bluegrass came to our house and made the process of euthanasia as smoothly and safely as possible. Three weeks later we had to put Sheru down due to an inoperable tumor that started bleeding inside. Bluegrass recommended Lap of Love for a weekend at home euthanasia and Dr Allie with Lap of Love also made the process as smoothly and safely as possible. The Singh family thanks Bluegrass for all the help and treatment given to Sheru and Rani.
Feb 13, 2025 · Jimmy Singh JrAlways a positive experience beginning at the front desk and through the exam. I trust all of i the doctors with their recommendations, as they are committed to the best care and decisions we owners should consider. Loved Dr. Haddock and her assistant. I am an elderly mom to my Bartok and need their assistance and advice. Respectfully submitted. Mary Newman
Apr 14, 2025 · Mary J. NewmanDog Tooth Extraction - My dog is terrified of every vet he walks into, but Bluegrass was very understanding and patient with him. They gave an estimate for his tooth extraction, and even with removing 2 extra teeth the final invoice remained within the initial estimate range. They didn’t pass judgement about his tooth injury, only assured me it was likely due to a stick injury and not neglect. All around a great vet. They’ve also boarded 2 of our cats in the past. Very reasonably priced.
