Blue ridge vets is by far the best and most caring veterinary practice I’ve ever used. Always available, never ever push any optional care and are so loving and gentle. Last trip I think buddy faked an injury just to see the doctor. He couldn’t walk at all at home and was perfectly fine by the time we got there! 100% miracle. Thank god, and thank god for blue ridge! :)

I was able to get an appointment yesterday, Sunday, April 6, 2025. My cat grooms herself too much and had cause an area under her neck to become red, raw, and hairless. I am so glad that Blue Ridge is a 24/7 hospital and will take appointments if you call at 7 am to see what is available during the day for urgent visits. Thank you. My cat is doing good with the spray that was prescribed. She is not licking the area at all and is a bit more calm.

It’s hard to find a vet who sees reptiles and I’ll drive 90 minutes to see Dr Lori happily. Sticky was there for a checkup and Dr Lori answered some questions I’d had about my sweet little beardie, a rescue I got 5 years ago. She had Metabolic Bone Disorder, so needs extra special care. Thanks, everyone!

This group used to be an excellent veterinarian source however, they are more interested in their preferred pronouns while ignoring the deficits of their disabled clients. DEFINITELY, not sensitive and showing their ignorance for their clients with social issues like autism. Perhaps they need an educational update when dealing with a public …. and working with people who have real issues. They have changed drastically and are supremely ignorant of those of us with social issues… difficult to work with immature office staffing especially when the focus should be on our I’ll furry friends’ issues and not dwell on the owners. We have sought other vet after over $100,000 in payments to them and years of loyalty from our family.

My one year old mini poodle was recently neutered, and his care with Blue Ridge Veterinary took good care of my pup through his procedure and his after care to check on his recovery at home. My dog loves the staff there, loves the attention he gets, he’s treated like a celebrity.
