So thankful for Dr Rushing and her staff at blue ridge. They care for your pets like their own and helped me get my oldest boy, Turbo, out of pain and on a treatment plan. They’ve even been more than accommodating for another one of my boys that doesn’t like vet’s offices at all (due to abuse from a shelter’s clinic in another state). Rather than just turning him away, they helped figure out options to still get him treatment.

Blue Ridge Animal Hospital is one of the very best places I have ever been with my pets! Dr. Jennifer Narbonne saved my Yorkies life a few years ago and she is now 16 and is still with me. She was also a patient of Dr. Virginia Rushings before Dr. Narbonne came to the practice and she was equally amazing. We see either of them and without hesitation they are the best vets I have had the experience of working with. My pets love them and we do as well. They always work us in when my girl isn’t feeling her best, take phone calls if I have questions or concerns and even answer messages after hours. The compassion they show their patients is not comparable to anyone else. We recently suffered a tragic loss of our beautiful cat who passed away tragically and suddenly and both them were responsive and compassionate to our needs as well as all the office staff. Our beautiful boy has crossed over the rainbow bridge now and they have called us to check on us and have been nothing but supportive throughout the process of cremation and waiting for his urn to arrive to he can be put to rest peacefully by them and we can bring him home at peace. Our beautiful boy will be with us always and forever and we can not thank the staff at Blue Ridge enough for all they do for our pets and our family.

How can one explain how a group of people saved my dog? I was able to get an appt in hours. Tests were done quickly. Which led to more tests. In the end a blockage in my dog's sm intestines was found. They gave me blunt and honest options. I appreciate that. A course of action was decided on. Then they rearranged their day and did my dog's surgery during their lunch break! They saved my dog. BTW, he ate a corn cob!

This is by far my favorite veterinary office in Culpeper. They have a real love for our animals and it shows. My cat had a sudden urinary problem and they made room for him immediately. My baby is going to be ok. They called to check on him and gave me alternatives. They are wonderful!

My Golden Retriever Cole has separation anxiety with me and when we went for his wellness exam the staff notice instantly his attachment to me and allowed me to walk him to the back room. I also scheduled Cole to be neutered. The day of surgery you normally drop off your animal at 7:30 but due to the excellent care and attentiveness of the staff observing Cole’s severe attachment to me they told me to drop Cole off at 10am so he wouldn’t suffer anxiety. I absolutely love that the staff notices the small things and truly cares about my baby boys anxiety and wanted to make Cole’s surgery easier for him and myself.
