Dr.Orth is an amazing doctor and the Staff are super nice and incredible especially with communication. I came to get my pets established as I am new to the area. My older cat (Groot) ended up having more issues than expected. Dr.Orth and the staff have helped me with transferring and getting anything I needed to help Groot. Unfortunately I had to euthanize Groot as he ended up having aggressive lymphoma. I am glad Dr.Orth and the staff at Bloomington Veterinary Hospital were able to help make my cats lasts days more comfortable. I still will be bringing my other cat Atari for her routine care. The only downside was as a new patient/client I had to wait a few months before getting both cats seen.

The staff are great, prompt, efficient, kind to my wary pup. I love Dr. Orth and the focused attention she pays to my dogs, answering all questions, offering higher and lower-priced options for followup, ready to discuss anything. As pet care becomes more and more corporatized, we really appreciate the personal attention our animal friends receive.

Dr Medlock is by far our favorite Vet. I have been taking our pets to him for as long as he has owned BVH. Not only is he incredibly smart and compassionate when it comes to animals but he even cares for the humans too. There is absolutely no other Vet that I want to take care of my fur babies. He understands the concept of pure love and he does whatever is necessary to take care of our fur babies. I WILL never question anything he says my pets need because I trust him that much. Another thing my husband and I love about him is the fact that he is also a big family man and understands that sometimes time and money aren’t always on our side unfortunately but does his best to accommodate us. And he makes sure that us human understand everything he is explaining to us, he educates us on the care of our pets. And he has this amazing sense of humor which is the topping on the cake 🎂. I called this office and was put on hold twice for over six minutes! When I told them I had a sick dog that might have had a stroke I was told they are no longer taking new patients for “sick dogs”! Our local vet office in Ellettsville closed recently and can’t find any vet office to see/ care for our sweet dog!😢

I highly recommend bringing your animals here. The doctors and staff are awesome! They go above and beyond when needed. I've brought my animals here for years now. They are very gentle and caring with your fur family. They truly understand the family tie you have with your animals. They prescribe medication that really helps your animals, not just meds to make money. I only have two animals left and will continue to bring them here. Thank you so much for what you do for the animals and there parents.😊🐶🐱
