I am always amazed that they seem to remember me. I'm not there very often but when I go in the ladies at the front desk always remember my name and everyone is welcoming and friendly. I completely trust Dr Bliss with my animal babies. There is typically a wait but I know when it's my turn I will be heard and my pet will be thoroughly checked out. When I first moved here I couldn't find a vet that would take new patients. I asked on social media and everyone suggested Bliss Veterinary. They were right.

These typically include routine check-ups and wellness examinations, vaccinations to protect against common diseases, and preventative care such as parasite control (flea, tick, and heartworm prevention). For pets that require more specialized attention, veterinary hospitals often offer diagnostic services like laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, etc.) and imaging (X-rays). Surgical procedures, ranging from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue or orthopedic surgeries, are also commonly performed. In times of illness or injury, veterinary hospitals provide medical treatment, including medication administration, wound care, and supportive therapies.
Based on the available customer reviews, we can gain some insight into the environment and features of Bliss Veterinary Services. One recurring positive aspect highlighted by a customer is the welcoming and friendly atmosphere. The reviewer specifically mentioned the front desk staff's ability to remember clients, creating a personal and reassuring experience. This suggests a focus on customer service and building relationships with pet owners. The reviewer also expressed complete trust in Dr. Bliss, indicating a level of confidence in the veterinary expertise provided.
However, it's crucial to present a balanced perspective, and one review shared a significantly negative experience. This customer reported concerns about the cleanliness of the waiting room, citing the presence of dried-up urine. They also raised concerns about the lack of supervision of a child in the waiting area who interacted inappropriately with their pet bird. Furthermore, this reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the quality of a nail trim performed on their parrot, claiming it was not done correctly and that they were overcharged. They also alleged a lack of knowledge regarding Macaws. This feedback indicates potential inconsistencies in service quality and attention to detail, as well as possible issues with the waiting room environment.
Considering these contrasting experiences, local users should be aware that while some clients have found Bliss Veterinary Services to be welcoming and trustworthy, others have reported negative experiences concerning cleanliness, professionalism, and the quality of specific services. It's advisable for pet owners to consider these perspectives when making decisions about their pet's care.

Mar 15, 2025 · April SmithWish there was an option for zero stars. Our Parrot will never be back. We thought closer vet would be worth checking out- boy were we wrong. A simple nail trim and wellness visit couldn’t have gone worse. From the minute we walked in- we questioned our decision of this place. First step in the waiting room we stepped in pee. (I know it’s a vet but keep it clean- half of this was dried up) second red flag was the little girl that stormed into the room and was putting her fingers in our birds face and wouldn’t leave, also wouldn’t listen when we said no. This is no place for a child to be wondering around with no supervision. I won’t even go into the lack of education they have on Macaws. There isn’t enough space on here. Anyway, we go to pay and get charged $130 for a nail trim which wasn’t even done correctly and the length isn’t trimmed whatsoever. Lady at the front desk was completely rude and seemed very overwhelmed. I took pictures and send to our other vet in Columbus- which they agreed was done wrong. We will happily be making the trip back to our regular vet next week for a good nail trim and wellness check (that wasn’t even completed if I may add) It’s a four hour round trip, but well worth not having to go back to bliss. Our bird did wonderful in Columbus, so that will be our place to go from now on.
Apr 09, 2025 · Carrie PekariSara is the best veterinarian around. She saved our dog's life from another uneducated Vet. Be careful of other young Vets that don't know what they're doing.
Mar 14, 2025 · dwight newellExpect to wait if you go. Our previous vet office wouldn't even see us when our dog was sick and dying, and they had treated him since he was a puppy. We switched to Dr. Bliss and her team and, have always been able to get an appointment and / or meds when we need them. They are busy, and usually there is a long wait, but we get seen.
May 04, 2025 · Mark BatesDon't know that they're taking new kids in, but, if they are, you won't be disappointed. My kittens are enjoying flawless health because of this vet. If you can get in, you won't be disappointed. Just be prepared for long waits because they are very very VERY busy. They also have phenomenal staff who are friendly, helpful, compassionate, patient, and competent. The aforementioned combination is unheard of in big cities, from one of which I just moved, so I'm not talking outta my ass. I sincerely mean what I said. You can trust this practice, they're good. I'd know.
