While specific details about the environment of Blanchard Valley Veterinary are not extensively described online, we can infer some aspects from the customer feedback. The mention of taking care of a bearded dragon with the "utmost care" suggests a facility equipped to handle various types of animals, potentially including exotic pets. The reference to a "kind doctor" implies a welcoming and considerate atmosphere. A typical pet hospital environment includes examination rooms for consultations and treatments, and potentially areas for surgery, diagnostics, and patient recovery. Given the positive remarks about the care provided, it's likely that the clinic maintains a professional and clean setting conducive to animal health.

Based on the customer experiences shared, the services offered at Blanchard Valley Veterinary, under the care of Dr. Anthony Fuller, include:

  • Exotic Animal Care: Demonstrated expertise in treating non-traditional pets such as bearded dragons and hedgehogs. This suggests a broader scope of knowledge beyond typical companion animals.
  • Wellness and Preventative Care: Evidenced by the advice given on how to best care for a hedgehog to ensure its health.

It is reasonable to assume that, as a Pet Hospital, Blanchard Valley Veterinary also offers other standard services such as vaccinations, parasite control, and potentially dental care and surgical procedures. However, the reviews specifically highlight Dr. Fuller's knowledge and ability to care for exotic pets, indicating a potential specialization or strong competency in this area.

A key feature of Blanchard Valley Veterinary is the knowledge and expertise of Dr. Anthony Fuller. One reviewer explicitly stated, "Very knowledgeable," and was highly satisfied with the care their bearded dragon received. This suggests that Dr. Fuller is not only skilled in veterinary medicine but also takes the time to educate pet owners on how to best look after their animals. The ability to effectively treat exotic pets sets this clinic apart and indicates a broader understanding of animal health across different species.

However, one minor concern was raised by a reviewer regarding the handling of their hedgehog when being brought out after an examination. They noted that it was chilly, and the pet wasn't kept adequately wrapped up to prevent getting cold. While this was their only minor complaint, they still emphasized that the doctor and staff are "super kind and super helpful." This feedback is valuable for the clinic to ensure consistent attention to detail in all aspects of patient care, including post-examination handling.

Very kind doctor! Helped out with making sure my hedgehog was healthy and giving me advice on how to best care for him! My only minor complaint is when the receptionist/ vet assistant/ whoever brought him out brought him out, it was chilly and they seemed to not pay much attention to keeping him wrapped up/his house covered so he wouldn’t get cold. Just something to maybe make clear or take note of. They are super kind and super helpful though!

Staff is ok, not very knowledgeable. Refuses to help out with minor pet issues. Gets annoyed if you habe an aggressive dog and need to wait outside until the appointment. Only good thing was allowing me time to cry while having to euthanize my dog. Pushes crappy kibble brands on you and tells you that the high quality food isn't good for dogs:/

Called first thing this morning because our new puppy was in distress. They got us right in even though we were not established patients yet and took excellent care of our puppy! He is currently playing like there was never anything wrong and I feel confident in the exam and treatment options offered
